Babies on the Brain

Stop being rude oh my goodness

I'm convinced that bump moms are all just miserable and mean-spirited. Every thread I visit is littered with nasty comments and remarks. It's disgusting. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.

Re: Stop being rude oh my goodness

  • Not trying to be miserable or mean-spirited but the bump is very striaght forward, blunt, and even snarky sometimes. That is what makes the boards useful.

Having an issue with the TTC board and coming to BOTB to try and complain about is isn't going to make you any friends or make the community seem any better. There are other baby related communities out there that you could try.

    1. There are a quite a few women on here who are not moms, but would like to be. So that's insensitive.

    2. Take your own advice.

    3. Are you having trouble finding the door? I doesn't look like most doors, usually just an "X" at the upper right hand side of your screen, unless you're on the app, of course. In that case, on iphones, you can hold on to the app until it wiggles, and then there is an "x" for you to push.

    Hi all,

Maintaining a welcoming environment in the community is something we take very seriously. We welcome debate and engaging dialogue from all perspectives here. We do not tolerate bullying. If you feel you’ve experienced bullying within the community,

    Please:
    - Flag comments that violate our TOU by using the “Report a TOU Violation” feature below posts
    - Send a Private Message to @BumpTara or @BumpCaitlin describing your concerns or send an email to communitybump@xogrp.com and include links to any threads that you are concerned about so we can properly investigate.

    Please do not:
    - Post on the boards about your grievances with the community or individual members. Doing so tends to result in unproductive arguments among members and escalates situations.

By flagging posts that violate the TOU and sharing your concerns directly with our moderators, we are able to address issues promptly and properly.

We will be closing this thread for further comments. Thank you.
