So right when we found out we were pregnant, we didn't like calling the embryo "it" because it sounds so 'removed'. And we didn't want to call him/her by a real baby name that we liked just incase of a loss. So since 5 weeks, we've been calling the baby "Fedor" (Fedor the fetus, it has a fun ring to it, and DH and I are huge MMA fans). Now we're about to be 12 weeks, and we did the first trimester screening and the fetus looks like a real baby now, so I tried thinking of him/her with one of our chosen baby names and it's kind of difficult. Please don't tell me I'm going to end up with a child named Fedor! Has anyone else come up with a "temporary" name for the babies they're growing?
Re: This might sound weird, but have you named your fetus?

Depending on the US, we've called LO peanut, nugget and gummy bear. Now I just refer to myself as "we" haha.
He, it (it'll just slip out I don't like it though), blip (50 shades reference) , baby.... Depends on my mood I'll refer to baby as that.
Now I'm almost 11 weeks and it's bigger than a raspberry but the nickname has stuck. Raspberry.
