I had tons of watery discharge with nh first - in the morning when I would stand up from bed it would literally feel like it was pouring out! My dr said it's very common for women to have lots of watery discharge . Mine was like a daily occurrence.

This. I know it's gross but sometimes I can feel liquid discharge coming down which is a pretty foreign feeling outside of pregnancy. There's just a lot more discharge than you would have mid cycle. Like PP said, if you're really unconvinced and have a bad feeling, there are strips that L&D uses that tests for fluid being amniotic fluid.
Amniotic fluid has a sweet, earthy smell and does not smell acidic like urine. It sounds like you're experiencing normal third tri discharge, just like your doctor told you.
If the doctor doesn't think it's amniotic fluid it probably isn't. Trust the doctor. Sounds like you're searching for a complication by saying the doctor is too relaxed. The doctor knows better than any of us.

I think it was probably my response that did it. Sorry, I can't sugar coat it. OP seemed like she wanted us to tell her that her doctor is downplaying something and her baby is in danger. Odd...
It's not like it was an absurd question. We'll get more like it to come, that's for sure. That's the reason (directed at OP) that you shouldn't DD. People will come along with the same question and could have searched and seen the perfectly reasonable answers you received.
Do I need to download an app to get GIF's to work as videos? Every time I try to save one or post it I can only get it to post as a still video. On an Ipad if that matters.

This!!! My hubby mentioned the other day that birth has a smell....I don't know why I found this to be so odd! LOL I guess while laboring it's not something I've ever paid attention too. You just confirmed that he isn't crazy!
