im just curious if anyone has gone through this! I ended up with pre-ec with my first very, it hit fast and delivered 3 days later at 35w 5d. However when I went home, I had to come back bc my BP hit 168/116 and was put on Magnesium for 1.5 days! It took 1800mg of BP meds to keep me regulated for months. When LO was 5 months, we ended up pregnant again, not on purpose. I was high risk then bc of how close and the problems I had. We lost that baby at 10 weeks! I am now pregnant again and I am just kinda scared! Anyone else ever gone through all that?? I am only 4w 2d and I'm being watched! Already getting bloodwork done.

  • I had preclampsia for both pregnancies and I'm on high alert with this 3rd but my providers say since my bp is low they don't see the need to check my urine. I delivered the first one at 32 weeks and 36 with the second. It's scary

  • I had pre-e first time around and was induced early and on heaps of BP medicine also for months after delivery, I had a spike the day after delivery- so we spent another 6 days in hospital - not fun

Anyway, 35 weeks today with second LO and have been watched like a hawk this whole time and had numerous labs done... Bp is only now bordering on normal-high and the dr has assured me if it develops into pre-e it won't be anywhere near as severe as first time- she said because it is the same father- my body would have developed some antibodies during the first pregnancy
So, I completely understand how stressed you are - I've been there, but I'm now feeling hopeful, as by this point last time I was on hospital bedrest!
I hope your pregnancy goes well
