Was going pee and had this really loud pop sound in my lower right side for sure thought it was my water breaking. Nope, nothing... Called the nurse at my OB just to check if it was anything abnormal and she said it was most likely my hip popping...pretty sure it wasn't my hip lady but okay...
We are seriously testing fate tonight- going down at 40+5 to spend the night at FIs parents an hour and 20 mins away. FI has meetings down there tomorrow morning so I agreed to go with 1. Because I am going crazy here 2. Didn't want to be separated from him and 3. They have a pool
still pregnant. but no rush here. part of me is panicking because all of you guys are like past due or delivered or scheduled for delivery and its like "oh shit its almost here" but then i remember that my EDD is the 28th so i just crawl back into bed instead of being productive. good times. really gassy lately, i think its from the $17 worth of strawberries DH and i bought the other day. also wondering if its the cause of my pooping troubles. if i stand up for a while i get the weird pinched nerve feeling in my inner thigh/crotch region, or my outer hip. either way its uncomfortable as hell. amd sitting up is stupid too because baby is all up in my organ space. so my options are to pretty much lay down.. or lay down. which is very unproductive.
somehow dont think ill be not pregnant any time soon.
Still pregnant and agree with the calls and texts. At least my boss told me if I'm still here next week I can work from home a few days! 39+4 Appt tomorrow so crossing fingers maybe we'll schedule something for end of next week.
Does anyone feel like their belly has totally changed? I'm 39+5 and I just feel like my belly is an odd shape and more flabby. The last few weeks I felt like I dropped but this is different. It's kind of concerning, but had an ultrasound yesterday and things were fine, head down good size, etc. DH says he can't see it looking different, but he's not the best at attention to detail!
How high of a heart rate is too high? I usually run around 108 since being pregnant (not sure how I ran before) and I'm at like 133 right now. I'm going to try and relax and bring it down, but every once in a while it spikes. My BP does too, but not out of range. Just high for me. Just keep an eye on it right? I mentioned it at my last appt but it wasn't really discussed. I'm puffy as usual and have no headache. Any thoughts?
@poppy1099 did you drink enough water today? High pulse usually indicates simple dehydration. Watch it and try and relax. Sometimes in the office mine has been pretty high 110 120 and then when I relax a bit it'll go down. Omg I realized I just said "relax!" Ha.... I'm such a hypocrite
my HR has been high 80s at rest. Maybe you are stressed? Also it probably depends on your pre-preg baseline, your emotional state, exertional state, and if you are dehydrated. my pre-preg was low 60s. trying the water is good. if you are short of breath as well, i would be concerned as this could be a sign of a blood clot. Or at least, if a pregnant lady came in to my ER with a resting HR of 130s, my top 5 concerns would be 1) nerves 2) dehydation 3) anemia 4) PE (blood clot) 5) infection. if it doesn't drop, i would contact your doctor. most of the time, i just send the ladies up to L&D because i don't think they have anything... but you should be evaluated in person by a medical professional if it persists.
Contractions for the last three hours. Will be 40 weeks and 2 days at mid night. Very anxious. Hope it's the real deal!
Praying it's real for you! I've been having one contraction an hour for a few hours now. Being that I've never had one, I'm hoping it's real for me too! We are due date twins; maybe we'll be birthday twins too!
Went for a vigorous 1.5 hr walk. Now I'm barely able to crawl to the bathroom. I think it was a bit much for a person who doesn't exercise. I know I'm cramping/contracting and have all these early labor symptoms.......... Still. I wish I had a crystal ball.
Stabbing vagina pain when I stand up. Basically feels like a bowling ball is dropped on my cervix. Feet are swelling like no other. It's grossing me out. Cloths, especially bras are no longer comfortable. I just take them off when at home. Freedom!!!!!!
Question. (Not sure where to put it) what do you ladies taking EPO vaginally do about having to pee all night? I feel like I just put it in and now my bladder is about to explode. I've been holding it in which a know isn't good and its very uncomfortable.
Oh please don't be jealous. The pressure and pain are unbearable right now and I want to wake DH up and cry...... I know it's a good thing but it's not anything I can go in for. Ugh.
39+4, one more day till my induction on Friday morning. Slept pretty well Tuesday night but now I have crazy insomnia. Lying on my left side is no longer comfortable. So much pressure on my hip when I lay down on it. Suddenly I find myself going for those "wide pelvis" postures they teach you in birthing class, like sitting backwards on a chair, and it's honestly more comfortable than lying in bed, even though I'm not in labor yet. But I can't sleep like this. No regular contractions, no mucus plug. I'm worried this induction will take forever:(
Do I'm 3 going on 4 days over my due date. I have induction scheduled for this Monday but I hope I go into labor prior to that. It's my first baby and she is not wanting to come out! Im in very good shape. I have walked/ done cardio/ and lifted weights my entire pregnancy. This child is stubborn!!! I'm just nervous to be induced because I know my c section rate goes up. She's head down and super low so hopefully my cervix cooperates before Monday!
@Westypet !!!! Ahhh! Excited for you. Baby had a stool in utero. Very common since you were overdue. Good luck!!!!!! Can't wait to see your announcement lady
2cm dilated and a ways to go. As soon as water broke and I got through triage, contractions really started to heat up and the pain is like nothing I've ever felt before! Migraine pain included! Nurse had issues with getting my IV in so I had to be stuck 4 times. That sucked.
Got some IV pain meds (fentenil?) and contractions are not too far apart.
High as a kite, but have stopped shaking from the pain and anxiety. Sitting in a dim delivery room and trying to stay as relaxed as possible before it gets crazy.
Could care less about food, and just want to sleep this off and wake up with a baby. Nurses are so nice and are taking great care of me.
Re: Daily symptoms 6/17
Why isn't it called Estimated 'Birth Day' instead of 'Due Date'? My baby doesn't expire at midnight does it?
Having some mild cramps, moody and I'm hungry.

I'm feeling less stabby and more like a crybaby today.
Got great news about an induction date: Saturday
Found our dream house during our afternoon looking at houses for sale, and it's perfect and in our price range.
But also found out that my mom has bronchitis, and so my family won't likely come to our state for the induction and to meet baby.
Signed,

And also reading the new moms thread is giving me the heeby jeebes about breastfeeding and eventually pumping. Please let me get it right [-O<
Serious crazy gushing, spurting ridiculousness.
Only me.
Oh, and it's brownish green. Headed to L&D right now.
Good luck!!!!!! Can't wait to see your announcement lady
