Hi mamas

I am just over the moon excited and had to share...I'm 9wks, a FTM, and nervous about everything. I don't "feel" pregnant which makes me worry. To calm my nerves, I got a Hi Bebe fetal Doppler and it was delivered today.
I told myself I wasn't going to try it until I was 11 weeks because I was afraid 9wks was too early to find a heartbeat on an at-home Doppler and I'd prob freak out if I couldn't find it....BUT... I was weak and tried it out tonight anyways. I had a full (now I mean FULL) bladder and I listened to an angelic heartbeat of 165-170 for a minute or two...ahhhh as a worrier, it was sheer bliss!

I am POSITIVE it was the babies heartbeat and not my own blood flow. I watched this super helpful YouTube tutorial and read lotsa tips before I tried it out. For those on the fence about getting one, I totally recommend it! Ahh it is THEE best experience

just thought I'd share! I read there are a lot of great at-home dopplers out there!

I watched the same video! Convinced me to buy one and try it out. I got a little $25 amazon one and at 10wks, there it was! Beautiful
@kkfl2m+b I did it with a full bladder and found it after 2 minutes, I probably just got lucky though! Good luck

-Watch some YouTube videos to see where you should start looking (it's probably lower than you thought)
-make sure you are listening to the baby's heartbeat, not yours. It's much faster
-it may take awhile to find, be patient
-please don't freak out if you can't find the heartbeat. Unless you are having true miscarriage signs, give it a break and try again later. It's hard to consistently find it in the early weeks
Good luck!!
