Last week we had planned to cook wagyu steak and triple cooked chips for my FIL and his partner when they arrived - which was put on hold when I went into labour that same morning. So the steaks have been sitting I our fridge for the last week. We finally got round to making them - had them with garlic butter and a chickpea and herb salad. We cracked open a really nice bottle of wine too, so I allowed myself a sip. Sooooi good! It was a really nice way to celebrate LOs arrival.
So I did it two ways. First I pulled the Oreo apart and added Nutella inside it in addition to the cream, then mixed up pancake batter and added Nutella to the batter also. Chilled both in the fridge because it's so hot. Dipped the Oreos in the Nutella batter and pan fried them in lots of butter then added some powdered sugar. Second way was kind of less finessed after I got lazy. Just dipped each Oreo first in Nutella then into plain pancake batter and fried. Much messier and not as pretty. But with this combo of ingredients as long as you don't burn em you cant go wrong!
after my appointment today DH and i stopped by a little mexican stand on the way out of the town, got 2 pork tacos which were quite good. and then when we got back into our town we stopped at dairy queen cause I wanted a blizzard. got a LARGE cookie dough with smarties. so much heaven. =P~
Re: Weekly Nom-Noms
Oh and PSA
You will hide in a closet and eat a snickers, the last cupcake, ice cream out of the tub, etc! It's a real Mom thing!!
Temp gauge said it was 107 when I got into my car at 6:30 tonight. ICEE STAT!
It only cooled down to read 102 by the time I got to the store. I can't imagine being pregnant in Florida through all of July and August.
#nope
Please tell me how this works!!!
Amazing!! And who cares if they're pretty! Nutella is involved!
