DH and I went to an outlet mall today just to have something to do. We went into Carter's and DH picked this onsie out. He was so excited about it too, it was so cute lol
not sure where to put this.. but has anyone else NOT packed their bag yet? honestly major procrastinator here. ive talked to my sister as well and the hospital will give us everything medically, so all i need to bring is clothes, chargers, my laptop and comfort items.. but im still using all of that. i only have like 2 shirts that im comfortable wearing in public and 1 pair of shorts that fit. so i cant really pack anything.

Packed my bag today. I'm 40 weeks today and thought maybe it was about time. You are not alone on the procrastinator train, my friend.
My mom had a couple random questions for me last night... first after dinner I served some chocolate cake and she said "oh, is it OK for you to eat chocolate?" When I asked why she would ask that, she said "there are so many things you can't eat while pregnant." Ummm... I'm not pregnant anymore.
Either way, how on earth would she get the idea that a woman shouldn't eat anything chocolate flavored while breast feeding? Torture!
Then a couple hours later DH started fussing. Like 2 week old babies do sometimes late in the day. She got all concerned and serious and asked "why is he upset." I wish I knew mom, but unfortunately he hasn't told me. (haha, which was kinda the response I was giving during the last couple weeks pregnancy to the repeated questioning about when he was coming out)

FYI: Some babies do get upset stomachs when you eat chocolate and you are breastfeeding!

Ok I'm going to be super creepy right now but I remember you being one of the girls living in the Seattle area... Were you at the Seattle premium outlets??
@rrcameron21 Yea I do live in the area (40 minute drive is in the area for me at least lol) but nope... We went to the Outlets in Auburn. However if those are the ones north of Seattle that I've heard of, I really want to go one day!
@Zeuskay01 oh it's a 45 min drive for me too haha I work at the Seattle premium outlets so I was just going to say that's so weird! It's a really nice mall!

This explains last night. Rough. No more chocolate ice cream before bed!
In related news, I just last night told hubs / read the posts and comments to him about the original anal thread. He was giving me the look like @klkonwi's blond girl with the 'wtf' face. He was literally stunned speechless for a few. And ladies, my man is a consummate smartass, so it really means something it took him a few to formulate a response
vowed to be productive for a whole day between today and tomorrow. gonna make a bunch of biscuits, and meatballs, and do like most(hopefully, dont wanna disappoint myself too much) of the dishes, and some other stuff. most days ill lay in bed for hours and then realize i havent eaten.. gotta seriously get it together.
I forgot what thread it was that I posted yesterday I was going to go to target and get things I needed to organize so I could be productive. At the end of my comment I said "5 bucks says I come home and sit my ass on the couch".
Someone owes me 5 bucks because after being out and about at target, Walmart and hobby lobby, I don't want to do anything!

Pet your purchases. I love looking at the new things I buy from a comfy spot on the couch. Especially if ish was on sale!!! TRIUMPH!!
I have things I should do. After reading the boards tonight, I'm perfectly content sitting on the couch and feeling LO kick. I can't imagine the pain of a still birth. I wish I knew what to say, but how do you comfort someone you've never met?
@klkonwi I don't know how medical professionals do it. I'm sure your good days are really good but the bad days have to be really f-ing bad. I'm glad there are people like you. I don't know if I could handle it.
My heart is weeping for her right now. I don't know what else to say. This is every pregnant woman's nightmare. I hope that she can find peace and comfort and happiness in the little things soon.

I can imagine it because I've seen it..... But I can't stand knowing that it happens all the same.
