So my husband is washing the bathroom rug and the mat that hangs around the toilet and he asked me if I wanted to throw in baby's sheets that came in the mail yesterday.

I loved reading these ! As a first time momma this entire experience has been.. Well an experience for both me and my SO.
At 35 weeks bedtime, which was once a favourite, has become dreadful. A few nights ago as I was flipping over in bed like a whale jumping out of water my man asked "does it really have to take that much force to roll over in bed?" The answer is yes. Yes it does take that much force haha.
Another thing he asked was if I held a flash light up to my belly if I thought we could see the baby in there. LOL. Took me a few minutes to pick my jaw back up off the floor
With my first my husband was still going to school and I started having contractions on a Saturday night, I called my doctor when I was having 4 every 10 minutes for over an hour (at about 10am on Sunday) and she told me it was time to go to the hospital, I walked to our bedroom and told him we needed to go and he just stared and me for 30 seconds and said "but I still have to finish my homework for tomorrow" ... Dude, you're not going to school tomorrow ...
We had a similar experience last time- we were due to go to a BBQ at my mums house and I'd been having mild contractions for about an hour which were getting more intense. I asked DH to go and get my TENS machine for me and he helped put the pads on my back before asking if I still wanted him to make the barbecue sauce lol xx
@Numajawara - My husband just said the same thing! I was taking the tags off some of the clothes we've received, and as he looked at the pile he said, "Does she really need all of this? I thought newborns just wear diapers and blankets all the time."
It was kind of sweet, lol! If babies were raised by men, they would have a much simpler lifestyle :P I now know how my LO will be dressed when I go out in the AM!
Re: Are you serious
"NO, that's gross."
"But they're getting washed"
"It's gross"
I wouldn't wash my own clothes or sheets with a mat that hangs out around the toilet.
Tell me I'm not the only one that thinks it's gross
