Where do I put car seats....I'll have 2!

When baby is born next month we will have a forward facing car seat, an infant car seat and two older kids. We have a SUV with 3rd row seating and I can't figure out how to fit everyone safely! Please help!

  • This is such a random question.. How can people help you out with suggestions when we don't know your children's ages, your car, the brand of car seat and whether it's isofix etc etc. The most logical to me would be to have the car seats in the second row outer seats and the older kiddies in the back so you can get access to the little ones easiest but I'm guessing it's more complicated than that if you are asking here? • Well, thank you for being so rude!!
  • Sorry if you feel that way, it wasn't my intention but seriously if you can't figure it out how do you expect anyone else to give suggestions without at least including the detail? X
  • I don't think your initial answer was rude. She even gave you a suggestion.

This was definitely not rude, and she even asked for clarification on your situation AND answered your original question based on what she could conclude. Goodness.

  • Check With your local fire station. Many times they are able to inspect that car seats are installed safe and properly. Maybe they could help with positioning.

  • Where do you live? I'm in the mid west and the local fire department fits baby and car seats. They were extremely helpful and would probably give you some great tips/help.
  • This will give you a list of people certified to install car seats. Many times your local police and/or fire department are not certified.
