  • Contractions-I don't like you! You'd think that after having the baby you wouldn't have to worry about them but every time I BF I get contractions which is totally normal. I mentioned to the nurse in the hospital that I didn't remember feeling them as much with my first and she said that was normal that you would feel it more with your second >:P it's not horribly painful but definitely uncomfortable!
  • Very crampy in my lower abdomen. Woke me from a pretty good sleep :(
I think I'm up for the day. Ugh
  • Leg cramps are crazy today! I'm exhausted too...up at night to pee and take care of said leg cramps and DS decided to poop at 6:20am and has been up since. I'm just going to think of it as my body training me for early morning feedings!

  • Hip hurts sometimes after sleeping, usually only the left one and I sleep w a pillow in between legs? Cramps this morning but they go away once I get going w the day. Feel I'll also have to be induced- due 22nd
  • back pain, cramps, nausea, and insomnia. hope this is near the end for me

  • Nothing absolutely nothing is what I'm feeling.....I'm due today and hate that I'll be having the baby over 40 weeks

  • Feeling stabby.  DS peed in MY bed this morning.  Play date about to show up.  Inlaws arriving today.  Have to go to work tomorrow to finish up.  Oh..Csection Monday at 40 weeks.  Don't feel a single labor symptom, just really pregnant.
  • Sore and as said a couple days ago is this mucous plug ever gonna end. Don't remember who said it but I feel you. Hubby is nesting this morning and I don't wanna help being 40+4 I keep saying I need to be less ready obviously not more ready he is never gonna come. Ok seriously I am evicting him Tuesday evening/wed day with and induction so guess he can't be in forever. But also feel broken that I can't seem to start on my own :(
  • Was the worst night sleep yet...woke up to strong cramps at 2 and never went back to sleep.. Started to keep track once tey were wrapping around to my back but never became too regular. Now today i just feel like ultimate crap...God please let me take a nap today...feel like i have the flu im so exhausted :(( 2 more weeks !!!
  • @Westypet I get a little sick from baby moving around too. Feel it in the back of my throat.

I'm not having too much pain, or more than the norm. I am dealing with exhaustion. Just weird. 38 weeks and all I want to do is sleep and stay at home. So I'm with you there @HisSunshineLove. My poor DH is in overdrive getting stuff done and I'm all like "I think I'm gonna take a nap".
  • I made the mistake of posting a pic of my sad looking feet on Facebook with a joke about how even a fresh pedi can't make them look any prettier cause they're swollen. A friend messaged me saying "CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY yadda yadda " essentially warning me about preeclampsia. I wasn't really concerned till she messaged me. After elevating they're much less swollen and I have no other preeclampsia symptoms. My doc hasn't been worried when I've shown swelling and all my urine and blood pressure screenings have been totally normal. I wish my doc had weekend hours so I could double check without having to go to L&D. Maybe I'll go to CVS to do one of those blood pressure tests to check.

So today's symptoms are stress and regret about making jokes on Facebook.

Don't let her freak you out. It's normal! I had water retention everywhere because I spent too much time on me feet. These things are pretty normal :)
  • I'm will @bbnmama2012 beginning to accept I will be pregnant forever. Finally feeling that lightning crotch at 38+5 my doctor said "look forward to your due date" aka he's taking his time. Soooo tired like I hit a wall been awake for 3 hours and ready to sleep again.

My fingers are crossed for you @MrsCaliRN ! I hope you get your baby soon! @Mommaswizz I think you are doing the right thing based on general feedback from the board!!! So sorry for your swollen feet!

This is probably a UO here but I miss being pregnant, even with all the symptoms :) Wishing all you ladies relief soon!

. I'm there with you @hoodoll82! I love having my little guy here and I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world but I do miss being pregnant, I've loved being pregnant both times. I told DH last night that I wish there was some way for me to be pregnant with the little guy and have him here at the same time-he just gave me a weird look.
  • Thank you @mamameghan and @MrsWiggleWaggle !! It helps to be reminded that it's all normal. That's why so many of these pregnancy symptoms suck, they could be normal or they could be a sign I'm on the verge of a stoke, great! I called my mom (a maternity nurse herself) and she thought that with everything else testing fine earlier this week and having no other symptoms that I'm just experiencing normal swelling. THere probably aren't too many other 38 week pregnant women out there who DONT have thick ass feet right now. I seriously love this board and you ladies. Thank you for keeping me sane :)
  • Wel my c section is Wedneday and tomorrow I'll officially be 39 weeks. With the way I'm feeing right now I would really like to think I'm going to labor. A lot of really bad cramping. But I doubt if. I guess I could just wish.

i dont have swollen feet. but im not on my feet much anymore these days. i can get back you when im off work at like 10pm -_- seriously though.. who enlists the help of a women who is pretty much 9 months pregnant to work something as stressful as a saturday night dinner rush.. desperate much?

but yeah definitely stress. i dont feel ready and i know once i get to work ill be getting contractions/crampy things, which are very hard to work through. and the people ill be supervising are pretty much useless. hello mental breakdown/stress induced labour.
    also tired. and stabby.

  • My feet have just started swelling and it went for zero to sixty in no time. A few days ago was the first time I noticed it, and apparently DH did too. He asked yesterday if I felt "fluffy". Thanks, boo. I am the definition of fluffy right now.
I'm mostly sore. Doc said to alternate heating pad and ice on my hips and pelvis but I get too annoyed with having to sit weird for it to do anything. "Come out" is going to be the first thing this kid says at this point.
  • Feeling pretty good today dispite being woken up at 5:30. We decided to go to the lake today with some friends, which is a nice change of scenery. Just took a short nap with DS in a friends camper so feeling more rested now. Pain in my tailbone when going from sitting to standing and general swelling are my only symptoms! Yay!
  • Woot! @MJMum524 good luck!

  • I think someone grabbed my left leg and tried to rip it out of its socket while I was sleeping last night. I'm hobbling around my house like Quasimodo. It's so sexy...
  • Omg @serenamarr that is the funniest thing I've read all day. Almost peed myself

Mine hurt bad sometimes. I also bleed a lot when I'm nursing. I thought I was crazy.
