Without knowing the results of my blood test, the US went well! for the first time I got to see our little peanut, measuring at 12w2d right on target. My DH was soo happy because he hadn't been able to hear the heartbeat on the doppler at my last OB appt like I did. Warm fuzzies!!

Had my 14w appointment today. Baby's heart rate was 153 and everything seems to be going well. Also got to schedule a gender ultrasound for next week! So excited and can't wait!!!
We had our 11 week appt today. Hubby was able to make it! We had the most genuine doctor, it was fabulous. Hubby was able to see the baby on the ultrasound. Everything is going great! Today is a great day! :x
Had my nuchal today, longest time we've been able to see babe! So great! Very wiggly for about 15 minutes and then just rolled over and said 'leave me alone guys I'm gunna take a nap now'. They had me cough and jump around a little to try to get him to turn back around but baby was staying put!
The neck measurement was in the normal range, and they weren't able to get a clear measurement on the nasal bone (that's what they were trying to do when babe rolled over and became stubborn), but they did get a blurry profile shot that they said looked pretty good. I'll have to wait until next week when the bloodwork is back to get our full results.
Both the heartbeat on the us and the Doppler heartbeat were at 151. What a great day!!
I had a routine OB apt yesterday - 11 weeks 2 days. We heard the heart beat (strong @ 170) and I had my blood drawn for the Verifi test. My doctor hasn't really mentioned the NT scan, I wonder if its something I have to inquire about? Or since I decided to do the Verifi test, they don't think I need the NT scan? I'm a little confused, I think I might call my office and ask about the scan.
11 + 5 appt this morning-all was great! We got to hear the heartbeat for the first time--what an amazing experience for us! This is our first so everything is new. I'm just happy that the internal exams are over for me until 36w. Next up will be discussing with Genetics our testing options-gotta love AMA.
Went to a private place for a gender scan at 15 weeks and they said it's a boy! I know it's early so I'm not going by it 100% but we are so happy! Thought I wanted a girl but am thrilled, boys are such lovebugs!
12+2 week NT scan today! Heartbeat was 169! I just always keep preparing myself for terrible news, it's such a relief to be done with the appointment. So thankful that the appointment went well. My heart hurts for others on here that did not have good news. 16 weeks will be checking the cervical length, which I have had significant anxiety about.
My appt was today at 12w6d. We got to hear the heartbeat via Doppler, nice and strong at 145. Even heard a kick that sounded like a hiccup! Feels so real now.
I had an appointment with my new OB's NP two days ago and she set me up to have all the info from my First Trimester Screening sent from my former OB and perinatologist. The genetic counselor called today with very good news!!!! My odds of T21 and T18 based on the first serum draw and NT scan are as follows: 1 : 22,000 for T21 1 : 100,000 for T18 She was also very reassuring about monitoring the SUA so overall today is a good day! Will update tomorrow with the sex of the baby...assuming he or she decides to cooperate at the private US facility in around 12 hours. Can tomorrow at 9:10am PLEASE get here already?!? (Yes, I lack patience) :-w
Hey Ladies, went to see Dr. On Wednesday for blood work opted our for the extra to test for things like down syndrome & spinabifida. Heard a very strong heart beat and got some new nausea meds, in down 5lbs and I'm at 14 weeks and 3 days so Dr. Is telling me to eat what I can. Scheduled my next sonogram for July 8... Hopefully baby bean will cooperate and we will find out the sex. We are feeling so blessed and thanking God for the opportunity to be parents. Praying for all of you as well!
We got a call at 6 pm on Friday that DH blood test came back negative for cystic fibrosis carrier! We were both surprised I was a carrier since there is zero history, but good to know. That was the only screening that came back with a second test needed and happy to learn we are not at risk for CF.
Also scheduled the anatomy scan for July 30, right before 20 wks! This all feels more real every day
