Evenflo triump advance owners- please come in!

Can someone tell me what the lenght limits are for rear facing in this seat? I know what the weight is but can't find length... someone told me they thought it was 30inches, and if that is the case we need to get a different seat cause DD is tall and 29 inches right now...

Thanks so much!

  • If nobody replies you can probably get the manual off their website and check that way.
  • Loading the player...
  • I REALLY hope that's not true, but i can't imagine the seat would be as popular as it is if that actually was the case...
  • I'd suggest reading this - https://www.car-safety.org/rearface.html

Most carseats have a 25" length limit (even the Britax's) - but unless your childs head is above the shell of most (read the manual to check their safety guides) usually bent legs aren't considered a safety hazard apparently... scroll down to get more info on the site, it's pretty helpful!

  • The seat height is probably 25-30 inches, however that is not your child's total length. It is the rump length. So I'm sure your baby will fit in it for a long time. My DD is 27" right now and she still has lots of room in the Evenflo Triumph.

Yeah ditto that, DD is definitely over 25" total inches (probably closer to 28" now)... she fits great!

  • DD is 29" and her head is no where near the top of the carseat.  She still looks so tiny in it.  While her legs do hang out of it and she kicks the seat, it is my understanding that that is ok as long as her head is not near the top of the seat.
  • Man DD has a way to go before she hits the top.  For some reason I think its only 35 lbs you need to worry about...thats all I can find in my manual and that's all the firerfighter said to me about when to flip.
  • thanks! I will ask at BRU today too :)
