I am exactly the same haven't had a proper meal for 3 days now just been nibbling and that's making me feel more sick. Got some ginger candies to see if that helps
I feel nothing helps me , though I had a 2 day stretch last week where I felt nothing...and then it came back even worse! Saltines are a joke, at least for me. I even got perscription dislegis from my Dr and even that doesn't help. I'm praying for this sickness to lessen soon.
It's been constant for me for about 2 weeks now I'm too nauseous for anything to sound good, but if I don't eat right after feeling hungry it gets really bad. I haven't found anything that helps it yet unfortunately. Hopefully it passes soon for all of us!
I came to the decision I can't tell if it's nausea my stomach feeling weird or hungry for about a week now. It's defiantly not fun bc if I do eat two bites it feels like I had thanksgiving dinner and can't have another bite and same thing if I take to long to eat. It's like a vicious cycle. I just wanna eat and enjoy it again haha. Saltines do help me sometimes tho
Nauseous all the time. I'd rather just vomit then constantly feel like I need to vomit to no avail but unfortunately that's my reality. Bananas help me, mint tea, hard candy, eating every two hours.
8 weeks 4 days -this is my first baby .been nauseated since I was 6 weeks..stomachs bloated and I keep eating thinking it will help me feel better. which eating doesnt gelp.nothing seems to help. Hope this goes away soon because I'm miserable
Same same same! I'll get hungry, eat a little, and I also feel like I just had thanksgiving dinner! I burp all day (so ladylike ;;) )! My tummy was a bit pudgy to start but now I am constantly bloated and almost always nauseous. I bought some "preggy pops" but they don't really help. Fizzy drinks help but they typically have tons of sugar, so, that can't be good either. I have never in my life had to struggle to eat a meal but that's my new normal. Cereal and toast are the easiest things for me to stomach. Despite all of that I've already gained 2 lbs! oops. I'm at 7w 3days
I have found that ice cream is the only thing that makes me feel better. Like soft-serve, not ice cream in a box. Wendy's vanilla frosty is what did it for me today and now I feel much better!
I'm 8w1d and I've been nauseous since 5w5d all day every day. I feel like My symptoms have only gotten better because I know how to manage it more. I still usually throw up at least once a day though. This is the first time I've been pregnant- age 27
Everything is trial and error but what has helped me: -Less sudden nausea since I started using sea bands. More effective in the day when I take them off at night -lemon juice or wedges in water -ice cold water or liquids, Popsicles too -no matter how full I am prenatal vitamins make me throw up -I eat a little slowly first, let it sit, and then I can usually eat a meal -cereal w/ and w/out milk. Usually has extra vitamins and 2 cups are enough folic acid for the day -bread with jam or butter -fruit of most kinds -frequent food through out the day in small amounts
Watermelon (any fruit but especially watermelon) and anything made out of potatoes, whether fries, chips or mashed potatoes those are the only things that help me
I feel the same way. . Whoever gave it a name of "morning sickness" was totally wrong . I'm nauseous all day! Even looking at the picture of any food makes me sick! Sometimes days go by and nothing goes in my tummy. . Just waiting to make it to the second trimester and we all will feel better hopefully. . I just keep reminding myself of the result
Ugh everything I look at is sooo unappealing to me. First i craved spicy, then meat, then sweets, now i have zero appetite and then BAM.... Out of nowhere I'm suddenly so hungry that it feels like there's a thunderstorm brewing in my stomach. Then when i eat, i can only manage a few bites I resorted to making meals and eating eating off them throughout the day such as healthy wraps or sandwiches and fruit.
I'm having a really hard time eating protein(which I know I need). Nuts, peanut butter, chicken, steak. None of it is appealing. I eat it but then end up nauseated. I could live on pineapple and cucumbers. I'm taking the preggie pops, which allow me to at least get to where I need to be before I start throwing up. 10 weeks and no weight gain. I'm a little overweight to being with so in not too concerned about that. I have Rx for phenagren and zofran but trying to wait until 2nd trimester. Thank god I'm a teacher and out for summer. Throwing up several times a day in the teachers lounge sucked.
I just spent all day at hospital getting treated for dehydration because I've been so ill! Definitely recommend going in if you're getting too sick, I feel much better already.
I had the same thing, nauseous on and off all day for weeks 5-8. I'm 9 weeks today and this past Saturday was the last day I really had any nausea so I'm hoping its past! I found saltine crackers def helped, but I completely understand the whole not being hungry then when you do eat you don't eat much, yet feel like you just pigged out at the buffet! Lol
I am hungry, I eat, I feel nauseous! Suggestions?????
I'm 10w2d
I was like that probably from week 5-8. its awful. I just stopped eating "meals" and broke everything up into basically a snack portion and grazed all day.
I now struggle with finding food that sounds appetizing. I get bad hiccups or hiccup/burps after i eat.. 100% of the time... EMBARRASSING. I also am now completely turned off to meat.Meat has been grossing me out the last couple weeks.
I'm 8 weeks and three days pregnant and I've been nauseous non-stop since 6 weeks. I haven't even left the house other than to bring my daughter to school. I've tried tea, ginger candy, peppermint drops, ginger ale, Nothing helps. I'm constantly hungry but not a lot of food looks appetizing to me. I do crave salads a lot though.
Hang in there ladies... I'm 10 weeks today and I think I'm FINALLY past the worst of it (knock wood). The first 5 weeks were brutal, I was out of work the entire time.
Advice: 1. Eat something before you get out of bed. Bread and saltines worked best for me, but I heard dry cereal works too. 2. Eat constantly! At least every two hours, whatever the baby will let you have LOL.
Ok I'm feeling better. I've been taking B complex, eating saltines, more starchy carbs including air popped popcorn, crystallized ginger, drinking carbonated mineral water and never getting hungry, literally I'm grazing all day long. But I'm watching my calories. I actually feel somewhat normal.
Some days I am, then other days I'm not. But then there are days where at any given time of day I get very nauseous and just plain DRAINED!!!! Skim Milk, crackers, maybe some kind of fruit always helps.
At around 6w I would get my sickness in the evening but the past few days I am sick from the time I wake up til I sleep. Even while I sleep I wake time to time nauseous. No fun ): I have the hardest time to eat anything. I found that Popsicles are the only thing I can fully eat. Haven't had a real meal for a few days. But yup totally sick all day this week. I'm about 7w4d
I Have been feeling nauseous pretty much non stop for 4 days. These last two I have felt so awful getting up makes me dry heave so I have been trying to stay in bed. Eating is so difficult because the thought of it makes me feel worse. I have been trying to nibble on grapes and crackers. I tried some cereal this morning got half way through and had to stop. Toast has helped and some coke I got yesterday. I don't think I can stomach dinner. I couldn't even take my prenatal vitamin last night because I felt so awful. I'm hoping it passes quickly because I have no idea how I can cope with this for another 5 weeks
Yes! It was awful, at first I thought it had to be food poisoning but it just kept going and I couldn't even keep down liquids some days. My doctor prescribed me dicelgis which has been like a miracle drug! Makes me a bit drowsy but it's far better than all day nausea. With my insurance the copay was still pretty high, but it's less expensive than missing a week of work
All day. Every day. For over a month now. Also have two little ones to chase around. Glad this is my last time through all this morning sickness junk. It's driving me crazy!
Omg I am so glad I'm not the only one feeling this way. It's horrible I can't wait till this trimester is over. This is my fifth pregnancy and I feel like I'm more nauseous this time around then with any of my other ones. My body wants me to eat all the time!!!! And I want nothing to do with food or drinks
Re: nauseous all day anyone???
Ginger doesn't help me but tart things like lemon in my water etc. helps. Also club soda has helped, and saltines.
Everything is trial and error but what has helped me:
-Less sudden nausea since I started using sea bands. More effective in the day when I take them off at night
-lemon juice or wedges in water
-ice cold water or liquids, Popsicles too

-cereal w/ and w/out milk. Usually has extra vitamins and 2 cups are enough folic acid for the day
-bread with jam or butter
-fruit of most kinds
-frequent food through out the day in small amounts
Feel better, ladies!
Nothing helps. I'm constantly hungry but not a lot of food looks appetizing to me. I do crave salads a lot though.
