HCG levels?

I have had 2 pregancys in the past one in 2009 (boy), and one in 2013 (girl). I just found out I am pregnant again. I had my HCG levels taken. The first day (wed.) They where 11. I went back in again (friday) and it was a 68. They quadrupled in 2 days. So my question is, does this sound like multiples or a single child. I don't understand the charts. I am confused.

    I think its too early to tell quite honestly.. sounds like you are still very early. If they do HCG again it might be a better indicator, but HCG isnt a very good indicator of multiples, however I do get that its fun to speculate ;) Sorry Im not more help

    No you are help. I have done research and some say it is multiples and some say that it's a thin line. But also my levels where taken 2 weeks ago

    How far along are you now? Sounds like a lot of doctors do an ultrasound around 8-10 weeks. If you have multiples in there that will be when you should find out.

    I only have one ovary. On the 26th of may the said I was only like 2 or 3 weeks if that. My last period was on April 24. They told me to come back in July to have an ultra sound. My husband is army. So they do things kinda different.

    I'm not sure if you can definitely tell multiples based on HCG levels. I think an future ultrasound would be a better way to tell. Either way, I think it's good that your number quadrupled! Congrats!

    Ive known people who have had extremely high hCG levels early, or have had them go up quick, and it was just a singleton. I wouldn't put much stock into it.
