DS Mentioned- Update

Thank you everyone for your T&P's over the last couple days. 

Well, we took him to the ER last night and we were there until about 1am. He was up for about an hour crying and saying "ow". Nothing we did helped. It turns out he has an ear infection in his right ear. 

So, he's on 2 antibiotics, 2 steroids and Albuterol. He's having a hard time sleeping, but hopefully in the next couple days it'll be better.

I'm fighting some head thing and DH is fighting a sore throat. 

Who wants to come over? Lol

    Aw man....I hope you all feel better real soon.

    Kids that age seems to always get ear infections.....it's like a right of passage or something.

    So glad he's doing better and hoping Mama is getting some sleep too (I know how hard that can be when LO is sick!!)

    My DD was on steroids last week.  She did NOT sleep well while she was on  them, but w/in 2 days of getting off the steriods, she was back to a normal sleep schedule and her crazy mood swings stopped, because those were literally crazy).  Good luck during the medication stage and I hope your DS gets better stat!

    Oh - poor little guy.  Glad that you figured out what was wrong.  Hope that he gets better asap.

    oh - poor buddy!  im so sorry you had to go through all of that.  i hope he is feeling better in a couple days.  and that you guys dont get worse!

    Hope you all feel better soon. The inhaled steroids shouldn't make him crazy like the oral ones. They aren't absorbed into the blood stream as readily and pretty much just affect the lungs- which is a good thing. Hope the meds do the trick and he is back to normal ASAP!

    im sorry he is feeling so bad but ill only come over if i can wear a surgegown, gloves and a mask (i dont like being sick, lol).  i hope he gets better really soon and gets some good sleep so you two can catch up on sleep too

    Awww poor buddy.  I'm glad you've figured the culprit out at least.  I hope the drugs help and that he's back to normal soon!

    Ugh, having a sick kid is no fun. Jonathan recently had a bad ear infection and he was teething at the same time and the poor guy (who is such a good sleeper) had such a hard time sleeping too which made him even more unhappy. I hope your guy starts to feel better soon.

    Yuck! Its so hard to see your LO in pain. I hope he starts to feel better very very soon. (you and DH too)

    Poor little guy.  I'm glad they were able to figure out what was up and treat him for it.  Hopefully he will be feeling better soon.  I had a lot of ear infections as a kid and I remember how awful they were.  (Big HUGS)) to you, Noah and YH.
