Looking for a lightweight/breathable, easy to use and transport baby carrier. Was thinking the Moby Go or Boba Air. Has anyone ever used these? Any suggestions?! Thanks.
I have the Boba Air (bought a 3 pack that had Boba wrap, Boba 4G, and Boba Air in it) and it is great as something to have thrown in your diaper bag or in your stroller to use when in a pinch and need to put the baby on you but it's not comfortable for a long term wear. For that you'll want something with more padding, like the Boba 4G.
I have the Ergo and I love it and so does my husband. We have used it anywhere from hiking on nature trails, around the house when baby is fussy to grocery shopping. The baby falls right asleep.
@jennycollins yes it's well padded like the ergo. It depends on what you're using it for. Like pistachio&blush we use it for long walks and hikes (I also where it for shopping, like grocery store, target, malls, etc) so the padding is essential for long term comfort. I almost never use our stroller. If you aren't planning to wear it for hours then a Boba Air would probably be fine for you!
I have a few different types of carriers and my go-to, easiest carrier to use, is without a doubt a ring sling. It's fast to put on, easy to get baby in, and comfortable. Depending on the situation, I can and will put my 2 year old in it still. Best and most used carrier I've ever owned. I also have a Moby, Baby Hawk mei tai wrap, and a wrapsody wrap, and have used my SILs soft structured buckle carriers and I still go back to my ring sling! I would HIGHLY recommend one!
