FTM and green for sure!
I thought boy names would be easier but it's actually been girl names I've found more of.
I like Odessa, Etta, Marlowe, Ollie, Laurel, Abilene..the list goes on..my partner is kind of leaving it to me if it is a girl. No mn yet!
For a boy, my partner is set on Arsen. I like it a lot, but go back and forth.. I also like Gaige, Jude, Kian, Otto..lol.
I have a feeling we won't know for sure until the lil thing I here!!
Edit: awkward autocorrect
I'm sorry, but Arson is a crime...just wanted to be sure you knew that
Lol, why are you sorry? I'm well aware it's a crime. A crime of passion and romance!!
Haha. Juuust kidding.
But really, it's one of those things where I love the way the word sounds, but more importantly the directly implied connotation is, to put it lightly, less than desirable to most.
My partner is so so set on it though..we have time and I'm continuously suggesting other names..
He has just been so flexible and thoughtful and completely unselfish, and this is truly the only thing he has asked for with all these random decisions we've had to make recently.
I've been hoping that it's one of those words or names that the more it gets used the less attached it will be to its negative background, like Leah or Emily I'm pretty sure (obviously, those names have less recent attachment to there unattractive etymology).
Still, all in all I'm ultimately leaving it up to my partner annnd all in all we will all have happy, healthy, hopefully morally adept children
What about Orson? Sounds a bit like Arsen but instead of a crime baby would have a famous actor as his namesake.
That's an awesome idea! Gonna try that tonight. I like it, lol, except we are back to the criminal tone if we go calling him O.J.
I'll let you know how that one flies. I have a good feeling
We are pretty sure if we have another girl her name will be Amelia. Not 100% sure on middle names yet. We already have an Izabella Kianna, Julianna Kaitlyn, Olivia Violet.
Amelia Harlow Rain Amelia Evelyn Rain
Boy
Jaxon (jax) Tyler (Tyler is my hubby's name) Asher Orion
Team green but only for five more weeks (is that allowed? I feel like I'm missing out on these groups in the mean time!!) we find out soonish but we have both names picked out
Lilly Kella (traditionally the first daughters middle name on my side)
Or David William George (traditionally the first born boys middle name on my partners side )
We have recently had a row with my sister in law over the fact that I have had Lilly picked out since I could talk and I genuinely don't mind if she calls her daughter Lilly but it won't stop me doing it also. She was furious. But I don't see why it's a problem! They'd be cousins with the same name...so what. Although I think we will have all our Children before they start having kids so probably not a problem x

My cousin and I had the same name, unknowingly. She is my uncle's step children, they started dating shortly after I was born. It was sooooooo confusing at family functions. We were always and still are referred to big and little ashley. I personally would avoid that for my own children at all cost.
@emmybean123 My best friend has the same name as me and while it can be confusing at times, we really love it haha. We are close enough and spend enough time (including family functions) that we could be sisters.
Our families rule for picking names is - Everything is fair game if you have a baby first. If you have the 10th grand kid (like me), your selection is down a bit but there are soooo many names to choose from. Even if your name was taken
Team green my husband is being an ass and won't discuss girl names bc he *Knows* it's a boy... he is the one who's die hard team green but what's the point if you are going full steam ahead in the boy direction? it's annoying
Team green due November 21! We were team green last time also and had a daughter November 14th (she will be 2 a week before new baby is expected to arrive!). We have no names, we didn't last time either. Our daughter is Emily Marie. We kind of threw around Kaitlyn for a girl and Blake for a boy but we are not fully settled on those names. We usually wait until we meet him or her! We have a very long last name so we are trying to find shorter first names!
I'm team green, but my husband wants to know, we have about 4 more weeks til we can even find out, so I guess we'll have to reach an agreement before then.
I am hoping for a girl but I have a strong feeling it's a boy I even considered buying some blue baby clothes at a garage sale today. This baby is due 6 months after DD so either way I will have to get new clothes. I dont share names but I dont even have any names I am in love with. My sister is pregnant too and I asked her if she didn't use a name if I have a girl could I. But 20 week AS is in 3 weeks it might be hard not to change my mind by then.
Team green here for baby #2. We found out with DS because DH wanted to, but I've overruled this time and we're having a surprise (as long as I can stay strong and resist the temptation to find out at our anatomy scan!) We're still throwing names around, but haven't found 'the one' yet for either sex.
I always used to think "if I'm ever pregnant I'll find out the sex for sure" but now that it's an actual decision I'm team green. After infertility and a miscarriage I'm just so happy to be pregnant I don't care what it is.
Totally Team Green FTM! DH wants to find out though. He says he can find out and won't tell me but I know he will in some inadvertent way. So we have to wait until on/before November 20!
If we have a boy, I love Jackson... Husband wants to do something that remembers his dad and my grandfather, Salvatore. He just came up with Salinger. I'm not really sure, any thoughts?
We have officially chosen our names, our baby will be Gabriel Jack or Claire Evelyn! But now that I can picture the names so clearly I am seriously having to restrain myself from finding out the gender next week at my 20wk us! Team Green is going to be harder than I thought but I know we will be thrilled with this big surprise on delivery day:)
Husband and I just decided to be team green after thinking up until 18 and a half weeks that we were going to find out the sex! Still throwing a bunch of names out there!
So I'm just totally convinced I'm having a girl that I haven't come up with any boy names yet. I find out July 2nd! If I have a girl "Violet Sage" is the name of my choice hopefully my bf will agree on it and for a boy I was thinking Grant no middle name yet!!
Now I am totally loving Everett Dean for a baby boy and Amelia Evelyn for a girl. I have yet another (my fifth) ultrasound to get through on July 9th. Wanting to remain team green.
Definitely Team Green. Our families are really confused as to why we are not going to find out. How do I tell them, for the millionth time, that we just want a happy healthy baby and to find out the sex at birth?
Team green again for baby #2.We can't really agree on another boys name, but we are going with Violet for a girl I do like Charlie and Harrison, the middle name will be Jeffrey after my brother.
I'm team green as well - a close friend pointed out that we get so few surprises in life, why not enjoy the positive ones! That being said, I'm terrified that a nurse or someone will ruin it accidentally! So many horror stories
Team green my husband is being an ass and won't discuss girl names bc he *Knows* it's a boy... he is the one who's die hard team green but what's the point if you are going full steam ahead in the boy direction? it's annoying
LOL, does that mean you get sole decision on a girl name if he's wrong? ;-)
This is our first child and want a surprise. We have names already picked. Cable Nathaniel Dayspring or River Melody Amelia. Decided on 2 middle names. The boy name is from Marvel - Scott (cyclops from X-Men)'s sons name. Cable is the nickname. And the girl is from Dr. Who.
Since I'm 21 weeks we are full on team green here. This is my 3rd and I have a boy and a girl already so it's not too pressing to know what this one is! Haven't even started thinking of names either!

Asher
Hudson
We disagree mostly on boys names. I love Jackson, hubs hates it. At least we agree on a girls name... FOR NOW!!!

This is baby #2 (#1 is 18 months old). We didn't find out with her either.
No top name choices yet.
We have no names, we didn't last time either. Our daughter is Emily Marie.

For a boy it will be Michael, but for a girl we haven't decided yet. We're between Victoria, Valentina and Sofia. Any thoughts?
