I just got back from my NT scan and everything looked perfect. Huge relief! My EDD puts me at 12 weeks, but they said the baby is measuring closer to 13 weeks. Baby was very active, wiggling and waving... I knew it would be like that, but it really took my breath away and I've been smiling all morning.

Just had my 12 week Doppler. Strong hb. She kicked twice! My chances of a mc are now 1%. So feeling restful.

I have a regular prenatal appt tomorrow but will go over the blood results from the NT appointment last week. NT scan looked good so fingers crossed blood comes back normal too.

I have another appointment with my OB on Wednesday 6/9 to go over our plan for increased monitoring and to schedule the fetal echo (SUA issues).
Then....drumroll....we have an appointment on Saturday at a private ultrasound facility to find out the sex of our baby!!!!!!!! I'll be 15w2d (they only schedule after 15w and bring you back free if for some reason baby isn't cooperating and they can't get determine the sex that day)!
I don't get my anatomy scan until 20w because my OB wants baby to be as developed as possible for the level II scan because the SUA and its small association with kidney and heart defects.
I told DH I can NOT wait 5 and a half more weeks to find out the sex so he agreed to the private US on Saturday. Can't wait!!!!!!!!

Had my 12 week (12 +4) appt last Thu, didn't get a n/s or u/s but got to hear the heartbeat on the doppler and now impatiently awaiting blood test results!! So excited to learn the sex!

Had my 14w appt today. Not much. Just talked to the doc about symptoms and what not. Baby's heart beat was 163bpm. Can't wait till we get to see our little one again. But sadly we have to wait until 20 weeks for that.

I have my first US tomorrow at 12w2d. I'm super super nervous about it, although no real reason to be freaked. I think I've read too many loss posts and gotten myself worked up. Will update after the appt tomorrow.

@lynem29 I felt the same about waiting! My OB won't do the anatomy scan until I'm 20 weeks and I just happen to be on vacation that week! Ah! I can't wait either so I'm going June 20th to an ultrasound spa to find out the sex... Omg, only a week and a half!!! I'll be 16+2 then. We are planning to surprise my family at the Father's Day lunch we are having with the sex (if baby cooperates).

I have a runner on my hands! Haha. I had my appointment today at 14+4 and when they used the Doppler she had to chase little bean around to grab the heartbeat, haha! 155 BPM and looking good! We also decided since I'm out of town when I'm 20 weeks to split up my next appointment... I'll have my regular doc visit the week before I leave and when I get back I'll have the anatomy scan by itself. I'm so fine with that. I get to hear the heart beat before I leave now and see bean when I get back! This is going to be an amazing summer!!!

Next appointment tomorrow and I'll be 14w1d. Ready to hear the heartbeat again. I worry way too much! Hoping for an ultrasound tomorrow but doubt I'll get one. Haven't seen the baby since 7 weeks and it feels like forever!

I go for my nt scan and blood test tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I have to go by myself because my dh has to watch our other kids since we don't have any family that live here. :-(

Got my nuchal at 12 weeks today and everything still looked great!! I can't believe how much the fetus has grown since my first u/s 3 weeks ago. He/she was being difficult so the tech had to try to wiggle my uterus around for like 20 minutes so he/she would get into the proper position--already being difficult haha.

Awesome, I just said how great my appointment went today and now I'm spotting. Of course it happened AFTER I saw my OB. I had a MC in Sept so any spotting freaks me out :-S

Had my first u/s today at 12w3d! First image was baby putting his/her fists covering face and then flipped over quickly! My boyfriend said that baby already has my attitude

didn't get to hear the heartbeat but saw cardiac movement in the u/s. This pregnancy all feels so real to me now

I'm at 15 weeks today and have had 2 u/s already with my new OB. They haven't measured the heartbeat at all just looked at the baby. I've heard the heartbeat once but he had to go get an extra doppler machine as it wasn't part of his u/s machine. I also haven't had my nuchal screening either. Should I be worried they're not doing more extensive u/s imaging or measuring the HB at all?

@akbussa I think it really depends on your history and your OB. This is my first pregnancy and I am not high risk. I will get maybe two ultrasounds and I'm 11 weeks and haven't had one yet or even heard the heartbeat. I think previously other women have said that the less risk the doctor thinks you have the less frequently you have imaging.

@hardlyhannah It seems to be slowing down but I keep getting a sharp pain in my lower left side. It could just be gas though. I sent a message to my OB so hopefully someone calls me. I'm assuming it's from a very busy 12hr shift I worked 2 nights ago. Thanks for asking btw!

They didn't do a pap or anything, did they? Have any intercourse lately? Sometimes, if the cervix gets irritated somehow, spotting is normal. FX everything is ok

I had a pap a month ago and no sex since last week. 2 nights ago I worked a 12hr shift on my feet that involved lifting and walking a lot though. That's probably what did it @DH09072012

I had my second appointment this morning. No ultrasound but we got to hear the baby's heartbeat it was amazing! It was 150! I go back in 2 weeks for an ultrasound and lots of testing. They also told me they might be able to tell me the gender. I'm so excited!

@DH09072012 Yes! Thank you. The spotting is pretty much gone... Knock on wood. Hope it doesn't come back! At least I got to hear the heartbeat the morning it all started, so that makes me feel a little better

I have had 3 of 4 this week so far. My first was a regular check up (pap-smear) since it had been a month since my last appointment, the 2nd was the day of my car crash to make sure LO still had a beating heart, 3rd was 1st trimester ultrasound and blood draw ( I was going to do genetic testing but kept running into issues with it so decided not to, hopefully I made the right choice). On Sunday it's my for fun 3D gender ultrasound! After that I don't have another one as long as no issues arise until the 1st but it has been fun getting so many looks at LO this week

@navyblueladybug I'm glad I'm not the only one with no patience! What a perfect time to find out the sex for you and be able to have the info for Father's Day!!
I guess we are in a good position in terms of the anatomy scan. I get why my OB is waiting until 20w: the longer you wait the more developed the baby will be and the better evaluation and measurements they can get. But if you'll be out of town, I agree, there is no way I could wait until 20w...not to mention longer!!!

Not an appointment update per se but I posted on the last appointment thread that I had concerning ultrasounds on 5/29 and 6/1 and was waiting on Maternit21 results. Just got them and all is negative! Still likely doing an amnio in a couple weeks since the ultrasounds showed abnormalities, but good to essentially rule out what Maternit21 screens for.

My appointment went well, it was my first pap smear/pelvic exam EVER and I got to hear the heart beat for the first time. Got the results from all the first appointment tests and everything looked good and normal. Good news is that I found out I'll only be paying $250 for everything including delivery and hospital stay, bad news is I don't get any ultrasound done until 19 weeks which is 8 weeks away.

Had my first apt last Thursday the doctor wants me to go ahead and do the 3 hr glucose tolerance test so that will be this Friday. Had my first ultrasound today. I was so excited and nervous at the same time even though this is number 4 for me. But until I see that heartbeat I worry. So baby was very active and wiggling like crazy with 171 bpm and measuring at 10w 6d which is pretty much right on track. I would post a picture but my app is acting up.

13 + 1, had appointment today and saw baby man! Everything went great and I've been so happy all day! I found out the total cost I should expect to pay for my visits and the birth (not including labs, ultrasounds and whatever hospital itself charges if j understood correctly-need clarification on that) ... $3072.00 that my bcbs won't cover. This is my fourth appointment and first time they've discussed payment, has anyone else had a similar experience?

@babyking1214 my office makes us call our insurance and find out what we have to pay for them, which seems lazy IMO but I got the billing codes they use so I could get exact info without any confusion. If you haven't spoken to your insurance it might be worth it to double check your coverage.
