Complete discomfort. Feet, hands, emotions. Wah :(
  • @klkonwi I actually love that song!! Definitely my new theme song. These toe rolls are here to stay
  • I thought for sure last night was the night! Steady contractions for about 5 hrs. And then it just stopped completely. This is like the 3rd night in a row! EDD is 6/11, but induction date set for 6/9. I'm going crazy over here, I want my baby! And I wanna be "normal" again!
  • @Westypet how's that hand doing today?

  • I'm still about 3 weeks away from due date and getting more and more anxious by the day.
For the past week I've been having this crazy itchiness in my belly and really red bumpy marks that were making it almost painful to wear clothes or rub up against any kind of fabric (sheets, blankets etc). So today i went to the office where my family doctor is, thank god she's one of the few doctors actually in the office on a Sunday! But I wanted to make sure it wasnt PUPPP or anything similar. And she said that it shouldn't be that itchy and gave me some hydrocortisone cream. 20 minutes later and my belly feels a bit better, but last night i felt like ripping my skin off so it would stop!
So now I wait and see if this cream will help my poor belly
  • @MJMum524 showed this to my husband and said I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. He said "that wasn't you?!"
  • I'm super crampy, tired and cranky today. My husband just left for this last night shift for the weekend. If I can just make it to our toddlers bedtime and through the morning I'm good... 10 days until my c section, it's NEXT WEEK! omg.
  • I have become very very dizzy this afternoon.
No matter what position I'm in.

I'm just sleepy. I'm also feeling so much pressure in my lower back and bladder when I stand. I definitely think baby is bigger & lower in there. Maybe it's time for a target run...
  • @janetsoy sorry you feel the same but I had a laugh at your husband's response!!

  • 38 weeks today. Pregsomnia...woke up early and had trouble falling asleep or finding a comfortable position. Really hard to roll over, squat down, get out of a car etc with this big belly. DH had to clip my toenails today, they were getting so long and I can't reach them. I overdid it a bit yesterday, DH and I took a nice walk in the sun, about 3 miles, and now I'm sunburned. Also I'm easily irritated today and not as hungry as usual. I wish I had more exciting symptoms. The nonstress test today again showed I'm having BH but not feeling them. Baby's heart rate is good and so is my blood pressure. Then why do I feel so grumpy and uncomfortable?
  • Emotional.. like ugly crying emotional.. and just wanting the baby to be here already!!
  • Dizzy spell while in grocery shopping had to sit down for a little bit. DH had to get everything we need. I don't know if that scared him but he's been "nesting" ever since he's cleaned the whole house including our pre-teen sons room which I need a mask and gloves to venture in with all the sports stuff ughh
  • 40 weeks and 1 day. Just started having contractions, at night mostly, on Friday but just feel like it's stagnated. I think I'm sloooowly going to progress. Feeling kind of annoyed but know it will happen when my body and my LO is ready. Just feeling impatient. I'm ready to meet my baby girl.

Looking good-- just scabby. No redness, and a very pitifully sorry feline.

I think I tuckered myself out last night with a mixture of anxiety, rage, depression, and feeling overwhelmed. I cried like crazy, ate some ice cream, and slept a little.

Had heartburn, cramping/contractions randomly, got up to pee a lot, swollen, and had a headache.

Not feeling super ravenous today, but I think that's just bc I am tuckered out.

Going to eat Mexican food right now!!!!
  • Tired. Cranky. Emotional. Anxious. Vaginal and pelvic pressure like crazy. My hips, ribs and pelvic bones just ache. Lightning crotch as usual too, sharp pains in my vag!!

I hosted a baby shower today and I'm now at home on the couch with my feet elevated, cramps and contractions. My body literally aches from head to toe, all because I stood for a few hours in a row, like seriously?!?! Doc appt Tom am to see how much more dialated I am (I was 1cm 3 weeks ago) and to set an induction for this week. I can barely move and I'm feel like I'll be crying soon.
  • @klkonwi -- how's your BP?

My BP is always good. @Westypet . Ooooh so confused. Because of my dizziness! I don't have anything to check it at home. I have my appt in the morning. I bet it's low. Thank you so much for asking !

I bet your right. All I eat is sugar lately. No more baking !! Ahhh..... But I really wanted ice cream tonight. Lol I love the nuts to the ice cream! Hilarious
  • @Mommaswizz
Any chance of thunder with your lightning strikes tonight?

I've been getting those occasionally, too. I think the belly is getting sensitive to kicks--whether they're high or low. Ouch!

Will a heating pad help the aches and pains we're all feeling in the abdomen? I keep getting told by DH I'm overheating the baby.
  • I'm 3 days past due and I feel like I have been punched in the lady parts.  I have had a lot of pressure down yonder for the past several weeks, but today it was almost unbearable.  I can barely walk.  I've been dilated for at least a month and was 4 cm at my appointment last Tuesday.  I had my bloody show a week ago, which continued off and on for a few days after.  My baby dropped at around 35 weeks, too.  I have also had a lot of braxton hicks contractions this past week.  I am just so ready for this baby to get here.  Either way I'll have her on Wednesday as I will be induced if she doesn't come beforehand.  My doctor has seemed very confident that I'd go into labor on my own, but at this point I don't think that's going to happen.  :/
  • So frustrated right now.  I've tried 3 "home remedies" to get this kid to flip.  Yesterday morning I laid with pillows under my pelvis leaning back till I thought I was going to pass out, went swimming (even attempted a flip in the pool---Sea World show anyone?), and then just tried sitting in the tub with the bottom of my belly under warm water and placing an ice pack on top of the bump where I can feel his head.  I'm telling ya'll, the kid acted as if he didn't notice any of it.  No movement, not a wiggle.  Then as I'm packing a bag to go stay with my parents for a couple days while DH is at class for work, he starts wiggling all around.  Stubborn, stubborn little baby.  Please, please, please flip!
  • @Westypet
I use a heating pad on my ribs all the time. Your not hurting anything!

Chiropractor did it for me in one visit!
  • @karastwin (sorry if you have tried this and mentioned it already) have you gotten yourself an exercise ball and sat / bounced / rolled around on it? It (supposedly) helps to align the pelvis and widen that area to make room for baby to flip over and put their head into position. I was worried about the ewok not turning downward and got myself a ball and started sitting on it, rolling, bouncing. I never did 'notice' when the kid turned downward, but the next appointment doc told me we were head down. Maybe it had been downward before that, who knows. But I definitely felt when sitting and rolling on it that my hips and pelvis were...something. I got the biggest size (to accept the weight of my ass, lol. And I'm tall-ish) and it only cost me maybe $10-$15 at walmart. It was pretty soon after that that I began to feel the mad pressure and spreading sensation down there, too.

I also read somewhere that doing handstands in the pool should help
