My DD is 1/31/16 my son will have just turned 13. Anyone else have a large gap in kids? Also any suggestions on how to tell my older one hes gonna be a big brother?
My first born is 3y 4m and my second is just shy of 20 months. They are 19 months apart. Now pregnant with #3 and there will be a 2y 3m gap between baby two and three. My oldest will be just shy of 4.
My kids will be exactly 2.5yrs apart. Was hoping for a 3yr difference but didn't work out as planned. I am kinda nervous to have a toddler and a newborn. Hopefully we will be out of diapers and more verbal.
DS 1 and DS 2 there is a 2 year gap (both born in July) between DS2 and new baby there will be a 2,5 year gap.
my brother and i are 6 years apart, and only know that he is reaching adulthood are we finding things in common. i hope my kids can be friends from the get go and do everything together. like i use to see in my friends and their siblings
I will have a 16 year old, 3 year old, and newborn. I wanted a shorter gap but losses prevented that. I don't really think anything about it, though - I'll be happy with whatever we get!
We have a 26 month gap between #1 and #2 and a 1 minute gap between #2 and #3 (twins). There will be a 3 year, 4 month gap between #3 and #4, and my oldest will be 5 and a half when the youngest is born. Four kiddos in 5 and a half years-- makes me tired just typing it out
My first baby will be 17 months when baby #2 comes along... little nervous, not gonna lie, but hopefully they'll be BFFs (and we'll be out of the high-needs baby stage quick!)
My girls are 2y3mo apart and this baby will be 2y6mo younger. I have had two losses since having #2 and we continued to try right away because we want to be done before our first turns 5 in March 2016. We both grew up in big families with wide age gaps and did not like it so our choice is to keep them a bit closer.

First off I'm 43. Hubby is 32. My son is 16 my step daughters are 13, 12, and 10. We TTC even IVF up until I turned 40 then quit. Now at 43 surprise. I am only 6 wk 4 days keeping fingers crossed and saying plenty of prayers for a happy healthy baby.
4 years and 3 months and I'm ecstatic about it. DS is already obsessed with the idea of being a big bro and he's independent enough to play happily on his own and get his own snacks. It's awesome.
My son will be 5 yr 3 Mos when LO is born. I wanted to have our 2nd 2 years ago but it didn't work out financially at that time. I am worried whether I have a boy or a girl that they won't be close but I'm hoping for it. Then I plan on getting pregnant with a 3rd in about 2 or 2.5 years.
My siblings are 5, 7, and 9 years older than me and we are all super close. I think it's all in personality and how you parent. I know some siblings who are less than two years apart and not close at all.
DS will be 3.5 when this one arrives. I had hoped they would be closer in age, but had 2 miscarriages while TTC. Then we decided we were "one and done," and shortly there after fell pregnant!
I think it worked out for the best. DS is very strong willed and mommy obsessed. He was a real handful between 1 and 2.5... It's gotten better as he has been able to do more, understand more and communicate more.
I have far more symptoms this pregnancy than with the pregnancies I miscarried, so I am hopeful. Still early days, and praying for a sticky bean.
My EDD is 2 days before DD's 2nd birthday, so 24 months. We were going to try a little sooner but things came up, I love the idea of having a close age gap.
