There is 1 thing that I cannot stand, and it's the sarcastic "LOL's" or "haha's" that are thrown into a response when someone was just trying to state THEIR opinion. I think the debates that some women get into on here are great and I love following them because they are truly showing both sides to a scenario. Sometimes things get taken the wrong way, but the snarky, childish, and completely inappropriate LOL to me is so wrong when someone is just stating their opinion.

I agree with you completely! I think that there are a lot of people on here that are using LOL and haha on every post, despite how inappropriate it may be. Perhaps it's an age difference thing? I don't know. However, I do know that it is condescending and can be both hurtful and misunderstood.
There was a person who wrote haha and then proceeded to apologize to me for my miscarriages. I did not realize at the time that she writes haha on almost every post. Instead, the way that I took this was that it was belittling my loss.
IMHO, writing LOL or haha at inappropriate times can be far worse than directly contradicting somebody in stating a reason for doing so.

Anytime I see it - SCROLL DOWN is my immediate action. Again, I guess that's what makes us all different. I'm sarcastic and brash at times but I find the LOL's and Hehe/Haha unessesary in most contexts and @bostonbaby, if I had seen that comment regarding my miscarriage, I would have gone OFF. They either have never understood the pain of experiencing such a horrible thing or are just horrible people. And I do not consider age an excuse. I'm only 26 and find it rude.
