Sad News today ..

after hearing about lowering HCG levels. My doctor confirmed on the US that my pregnancy is non viable and I should expect to MC over the next few weeks. He asked me if I wanted a procedure to speed things along. There's no way I'm going to scrape out my baby. I will let God take this path. And allow my body to take its natural course. I am sorry to leave you lovely ladies. Thank you for always answering my questions and advising me. I never thought I'd be the lady who MC especially having a healthy 19 month old son. But this time it me. And I am all the more grateful for having my son. God bless you all. I wish you all the best for a healthy pregnancy.

    You say you're not judging, but your original choice of words say otherwise. I'm sorry if I misunderstood your tone. This is a sensitive topic for me.

    I went to get my ultrasound today. And based on my last period I should be about 8 weeks. The fetus measured about 6weeks. She could not find a heart beat. The saddest news of my life. Trying to figure out next steps. Been a cry baby all day. So I can relate whole heartedly.

    Sorry for your loss :( i hope everything is over quickly for you. I felt the same way, the dr suggested a d&c, but essentially I avoided the drs until everything was over. It conpletely didnt sit well for me either. I do understand though that it doesnt start naturally for some, and others its just not what works best for them. Please just keep in mind it does get better. So many, including myself, are on here after a loss. During my miscarriage i read that the next rainbow baby on the way sometimes helps you heal. I remember thinking this definately wouldnt apply to me, but i have dealt a lot better since falling pregnant again. Please reach out for support when you need it, you will be amazed at how many others have been through this! Hugs and prayers xox

    I'm so sorry to read this. It's a horrible thing to go through. It took my body 3.5 weeks to start the process and another 2 to finish. I completely understand why a D&C isn't what you want, but there is also a pill you can take that will jump-start the process. Waiting for weeks was emotional torture for me, so I will take the pill if, God forbid, it happens again. Just an fyi of another option.
