Ok ladies I need your best and brightest ideas for refreshing thirst quenching drinks etc... Feeling thirsty seems to be a pretty common symptom so hoping we can all benefit from this thread! Please don't say water I have that covered! I am always so thirsty and I am running out of things to try!
Re: Thirst quenchers needed!
This might sound weird, but I love blending watermelon chunks and drinking the watermelon slush. I don't add anything to it.
I also LOVE La Croix seltzer water.
I use two parts (sparkling) water, one part juice, when I want something besides water. We used to have a SodaStream, which was amazing for making these juice "spritzers."
I have also been drinking a ton of ginger tea - either from ginger teabags at work, or by slicing fresh ginger into hot water, at home.
When I was a tennis player, I learned that adding lemon to water is supposed to hydrate you better.
I also used to love VitaminWater XXX, but just read it has the same amount of sugar as three and a half donuts. Yeesh!
I hate the taste of water - so I'll choke it down but have been also interspersing with flavored seltzer, Gatorade and coconut water!
Stupid GD. My go-to thirst quencher is good ole' h2o, juices are a no-go. Sometimes I'll spice it up with a lemon, but even that has elevated my sugars.
GD here too. I really really really want a smoothie.
Have you ever tried sparkling water, like La Croix or Dasani Sparkling? They have some really good flavors that help break up the monotony of plain water.
