@Jscasher - I just don't understand how I even came up in the conversation... these people seriously have not spoken to me at ALL in about 2 years. It was just rude and not their place. They should've stopped talking once they saw that my grandmother had no clue about the pregnancy. I would've done. I probably wouldn't have even brought it up to them because why the hell would I be talking about family members who I don't even speak to?...
I told my mom after our dating u/s, and later that day when my dad came over (they are separated, but mostly civil), she called me like, "Your dad's here... Do you have anything you want to tell him? ;;) "
@urby87 ugh =_= I hate that. Also hate when the parents just make it awkward.. Like when we were keeping it to ourselves and our parents every time we had a conversation one of the parents would look at us as if to say, do you have something you want to announce or should we? We avoided telling my BIL as he's a very jealous person and being the older brother of the two, he's always had a chip on his shoulder because my DH has been quite successful... But every time he came into the room... All eyes on us.
