Will my doctor print a picture of my ultrasound at 8 weeks?

I am having my second ultrasound on Wednesday June 3... This is my third ultrasound. I will only be 8 weeks and the reason why I have already had two is because I had one at the hospital when I was having terrible cramping and even though I was reassured that everything was fine, they are suspecting a twin pregnancy. BIG SURPRISE to me, as no twins run in mine or my husbands family. Three days later they ordered one just to be sure every thing was ok. Everything was ok. It was too early to detect a heartbeat though. I was hoping that this week when they do my 8 week outer and vaginal ultrasound that they would print a picture for me?

My doctor gave me 3 copies of my ultrasound at 7 weeks.

It depends on the ultrasound tech, but it can't hurt to ask. I only had print outs for the dating ultrasound and the 20 week ultrasound. When I ended up getting weekly ultrasounds and stress tests, they never printed any out. Also when I went in because of size discrepancies, they didn't print any 2D, but they did print the 3D.

We got one at our 6 week and then one at our 8 week scan, best to just make sure you ask x

Just ask. I had one at 6w3d and there was a baby, yolk sack, and hb, I asked for a picture and they gave me one

I heard them printing off pictures, so I asked if I could take one home and she said yes. I didn't know if she was going to give me one, but I wanted it lol. I only got one copy. Maybe at the next one. My first US was 7w 5d and hb was 164. My next ultrasound is going to be at 11 weeks.

My tech printed out the two best pics for us @ 6wks - I would have asked the H to take a pic of the screen if she hadn't said she'd give us pics. And yes, it's on the fridge. Will ask for them every time!

My tech always gives me a few pictures to take home. I have had ultrasounds at 7, 11, 16, 20, 24 and 32 weeks with the first pregnancy. This one I had 7, I'll have one at 12, one at 20 and I'm not sure what else. I have issues they are watching like sch so that's why I'm getting so many

We had an early one at 6 weeks and only saw a yolk sac, didn't get a printout of that. Went back the other day at 8 weeks and saw the heart beat and everything and I asked if we get a picture of it and the tech said yes! She said last time didn't show anything and that's why I didn't get anything, so hopefully it's the same for you and you get one!

Thank you everyone so much for your sweet responses! My ultrasound tech is NOT the friendliest... However, in Toronto there is a place called "UC Baby" and they do scans there for $30 and will print whichever pictures I want! It's a totally safe place (beside sick kids hospital). At 15 weeks they will even make a recording of your babies heartbeat and and out it in a teddybear!! It's a really awesome place
