Fun thread! This little girl wants chewy, sour candy all the time! Current favs are Sour Patch Kids, Starbursts, Sour Punch Straws, and Sour Skittles. I haven't really wanted chocolate this entire time (crazy!) What kind of candy have you ladies been digging with this pregnancy?

    I am the same! I am loving the tangy, chewy candy more than I am chocolate. When I want chocolate I want a cookie or cake or something. Not chocolate candy. Very strange since chocolate is my drug of choice ;)

    With DD I could've lived off of laffy taffy's. With this one, I still like the chewy/fruity candy but I can hardly resist a chocolate candy bar when I see one - YUMMY!!

    Chocolate... All the chocolate in the world! I had a horrible nightmare last night that chocolate was a huge no no during pregnancy... Like as bad as alcohol! I was sad when I woke up!

    Snickers and Reese's peanut butter cups but that's no different than when I'm not pregnant. With DS 1 I craved Snickers too, I was bad and would walk to the convenience store by my work after lunch and eat one a couple of days a week. I justified it by walking there and using the stairs. Haha.

    I hope this remains outside the womb, but this boy just doesn't excite over candy!! I get so excited, try a candy, then...meh...

    Sandwiches. Sandwiches are my candy. Any sandwich with mushy bread, a sauce/spread, cheese and crispy bacon.

    But sour candy is THE candy to live on.

    I'm not into hard candies or gummies or fruity candies....... but if I could find some cinnamon bears I'd be all over those. I know they're around and are online but it's probably good I don't frequent the special candy stores or I'd eat them all.

    @barrelocarol Sandwiches! Me too! I'm loving this new OatNut bread I got recently. Sometimes I just eat it with cream cheese. So yummy!

    I've been wanting sweet chewy too- I had to hold off from buying another giant bag of Laffy taffy at the store because I ate the last one in 3 days. And twizzlers and sour punch straws.

    I've been eating tons of peanut butter m&ms too- got some as treats to use while potty training my daughter. She trained in 5 days and I'm still eating them...

    Mike and Ikes! There are jurassic world Mike and Ikes at the 99 cent store with a "mystery" flavor made to look like a dinosaur egg...and I can't stop. Every time I go, I buy a few boxes to hold me over..

    I'm with you ladies on the sour candies, especially Sour Patch Kids, and Icebreakers. At first it was because I'd read that sour helps with morning sickness (STILL suffering at 22 weeks), but now I want them, sick or not. Mars bars, O'Henry, and any other chocolate I wouldn't turn down, though I haven't craved it especially, which is odd for me.

    Starburst jelly beans and peanut butter M&Ms....I try to keep them in moderation but it's so hard!

    Vanilla cake with vanilla frosting, bonus of there strawberries on it. Which has always been something I couldn't even remotely care about pre-preg. And popsicles. And those ice cream drumsticks.

    I've always had an epic sweet tooth but it's been mild since baby and I've had legit meh moments towards chocolate which is just crazy.

    Hershey's golden nuggets. The milk chocolate and almonds kind! I keep stash in my desk at work, but they're all gone and i keep forgetting to get some more. Oh and milk chocolate and peanut butter Tasty Kakes (not sure if everyone knows what they are or not) and now I want fruit with cool whip or vanilla pudding ugh... I'm so fat lol

    I've been obsessed with vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting. I made a huge batch to batch freeze for DD and I've eaten almost every single one.... There are four left, which I know because I counted them last night when planning out how to ration them until I can make more ;)
    Also ice cream is the most amazing thing ever!!! I'm currently having chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup for lunch! Yum!!!

    In my favorite book series, Stephanie Plum loves Tastycakes and she's from Trenton. It's a running theme in those books. Now I get the connection!
