Yes! I've been dealing with this for 4 days now. They happen when I walk, sit or stand, but go away after about 30 mins laying down on my left side. My doc said as long as I'm able to regain my breath and there is no true pain associated, that I am fine. Call you doc though, and ask their opinion.

Yep its normal. I always get short of breath with braxton hicks contractions. Same with my last pregnancy. As long as when the contraction stops, your breathing returns to normal, you should be fine. As always, mention it to your doctor, but I wouldn't worry about it.
I've talked to my doc about it, she has told me not to worry if it gets better and no pain is associated, I was just curious to see if anyone else has had this same issue.
And curious about what others do to alleviate the discomfort
Pee, change position and/or walk, breathe through it, and wait it out is all I've found that helps. Drinking water helps to prevent them if they are due to dehydration but does nothing really for the immediate discomfort.
