aspirin

Hello everyone
Am 30weeks pregnant and will be flying for 6hours when I'll be 32weeks.
The Doctor asked me to take one aspirin 81mg (coated) 30mins before the flight.
I read about it and they said its not recommended.
Until now, I don't have any complications. Has anyone taken it just before the flight?

Baby aspirin is a low enough dose to be safe. I've got a blood issue so my doctor requires me to take one baby aspirin every day for my entire pregnancy. I haven't been flying and won't be, but my baby has been doing just fine with the aspirin. No problems.

The baby aspirin is to help keep your blood thin because you are at a high risk for blood clots when flying when pregnant. 6 hours is a fairly long flight while pregnant so I would listen to my dr and take it.
