People telling me "My kids slept with bumper pads, pillows, blankets and whatever in their crib. They also slept on their stomach." I understand that times were different when we were all babies. I also live in a county where the infant mortality rate is considerably higher than the national average. I work at a pregnancy center where we teach safe sleep over and OVER again because our infant mortality rate is SO high. I always just say well we are just choosing differently for our child based on the studies I have seen at my work. I don't really know what else to say. Why are people so upset that I don't want pillows or heavy blankets in the crib?! It drives me crazy!!!
Re: SO OVER (rant)
From the moment I held you in my arms, I knew it was meant to be.

I adore her smile,
I cherish her hugs,
I admire her heart.
But most of all,
I love that she is my daughter.
*Actually just don't use the darn things. After thinking about it for a minute she could have used it to step up if it was on the outside as well.
