i started having symptoms such as the itchy palms and soles last night, and was wondering how symptoms started in anyone with an official diagnosis, thanks!
I didn't have this, but my really good friend did. She also had nausea and headaches as a symptom, and her itching was so bad she would scratch til she was bleeding at times. Because it isn't a histamine reaction, nothing helped soothe the itch, like Benadryl or calamine lotion. You should definitely call your doctor if you're worried though. It's pretty serious if you do have it.
Had it with my first 3 and expecting it again soon with this pregnancy. I found it was the itching especially my hands and feet. I wanted to tear my skin off and I couldn't sleep because of it. Tell your doctor. All they have to do is a blood draw. If it's positive there is medication that helps normalize your liver enzymes and makes the itching more bearable. There will probably be monitoring to make sure the baby doesn't go in distress. I didn't have any further issues and the NSTs were a nice 30 mins 3 times a week to listen to baby. Also my doctor was concerned for the potential complications for baby so all my deliveries have been in the 37th week.
I don't have a completely official diagnosis, but have had horrible itching for the last 2 weeks. I had blood work done last week and got a call today that my liver enzymes and bile acid tests came back high so I am seeing a high risk ob on Friday. Definitely call your doctor, and be persistent that they do the blood work.

What parts itch? Soles and palms? My itching is concentrated to some areas, and could look like an allergic reaction
