Lortab for Headaches

I had a headache that started on Thursday and progressively got worse. It finally let up on Sunday. I was in a dark room the entire weekend - hoping that would help. I had my regular dr. appointment today. I mentioned it to my dr. and she prescribed me lortab. Has anyone else taken this before?

Also - I got to hear the munchkin's heartbeat:-) Ultrasound is tomorrow and hopefully we'll find out the sex.

Oh im sorry headaches are our worst enemies right!!! I'm guessing its safe since your Doc prescribed it for you.... but I have only taken tylenol for my headaches!

oh and congrats I heard my babies heartbeart Friday 155 beats per min, I'm waiting for them to schedule my first ultrasound hoping aswell to find out what I'm having!

I haven't researched it too much but it is what they gave me to take after my surgery on Friday. I had to stop taking it because it was actually giving me headaches though.

I took it a few times (not while I was pregnant) after a minor surgery, but didn't like it, so decided the pain was easier to deal with.  Make sure you take it on a full stomach.  I made that mistake twice and got sick to the point of throwing up.

I've never taken it, but I've given it to patients. I'll admit, it's a drug we hate to give kids because it's not super effective and it gives many people a wicked upset stomach.

Remember it has Acetaminophen in it, so don't take extra Tylenol with it.
