random ice breaker

So I'm new here and just trying to break the ice, what is everyone's go to movie? Whenever I want to watch a movie and can't decide it's always between the breakfast club and tangled. I love Disney movies! :) can't wait to hear some good movies, and maybe try some new ones myself?

i am exploring old movies now.. Some that I really liked are Easter Parade, To Be or Not to Be, How to Steal a Million, Singin in the Rain.
  • The heat!
  • I love Crazy, Stupid Love. Ryan Gossling and Steve Carell are perfect together. I also love Emma Stone and Julianne Moore. That movie has a great cast. It's a great feel good movie.

I'm slightly addicted to You've Got Mail. It's another feel good. I've seen it countless times and every time it's on TV I have to watch a few minutes of it.

Another one that gives me the feels is The Family Stone.

    Apparently I'm pretty sappy. 8->
  • Moulin Rouge is my #1, then anything Disney or Audrey Hepburn

  • I love stupid funny movies like Road Trip, Anchorman, Zoolander, Hot Tub Time Machine, etc. I certainly appreciate "good" movies too, but my go-tos for watching again and again are always the ones I know will make me laugh.

I love period dramas, movies that feel like they could have happened (and are often based on real events/people or at least great books).
    The Duchess
    Elizabeth (1&2)
    Fried Green Tomatoes
    Shawshank Redemption
    The Color Purple
    Jane Eyre
Lots of BBC! TG for Netflix!

The one I probably watch the most is Runaway Bride. I grew up watching it with my mom, so I think that's why I love it so much.

Love Actually is a close second.

    Mostly I just re-watch Gilmore Girls :)

  • My go to?
I'm in a not so healthy obsession with Greys anatomy. So when I want to watch something it's greys anatomy...
  • I can't think of movies so I will do TV shows (thank you very much Netflix): the following, supernatural, walking dead, Greys anatomy, and of course friends is an all time favorite!
  • As far as Netflix shows go....The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is about the funniest thing ever! And don't forget Orange is the New Black comes back June 12th!!!!!

Did you know zoolander 2 is coming out February 12th?
  • I'm a Netflix junkie too. I've seen the same episodes of Criminal Minds so many times but, I'm still always surprised by the outcome. I just always restart from E1S1 and watch it all the way through all the seasons and then start again. Love it!

Yes! Though it will probably flop. Anchorman 2 was awful.
