DH had peed on an electric fence to keep cattle in. The doctor told him that there was a 50/50 chance that he would have children. I know that sperm is reproduced quite often. And if so it'd be possible that we would be able to have kids. He doesn't believe me and says I don't know anything. So I guess what I'm trying to ask is, have you ladies heard of this situation before??

Thank you!!
Quite possibly one of the strangest TTC questions I've ever seen??
But no, sorry, I have not heard of this situation before. I do not frequently speak with men who've been electrocuted while peeing on an electric fence, because most men can predict what will happen to them if they pee on an electric fence...
It's true men produce sperm continuously. There is a brand spankin (heh, spankin) batch about every three months.
However, this doesn't mean that no matter what, the little spermies will be okay. The sperm don't spontaneously appear from nowhere. There's structures that are needed for it to happen, and they arise from other cells. So if that is damaged, the ability to produce sperm can be as well. My parents had difficulties conceiving due to my dad hitting himself on a hurdle when doing track in high school.
There's short term and long term damage. Short term can be something like sitting in a hot tub, getting them too hot and killing them off, possibly making him less fertile for a couple months, but with no long term repercussions. Then there's actual damage to the tissues, which he may or may not bounce back from.
No real way to know without further analysis.
