Team green, but I had to be talked into it. Lol For a boy we are sold and agree on Liam Dominic. Girl name is the tricky on... Maxine Grace or MacKenzie Rhea
Team green for this pregnancy as we were with our first - so exciting this way! The girl name was already selected as we didnt use it the last time since we had a little boy. A girl will be Mackenzie Jean (Jean after my husband's grandmother). If we have a boy the name will be Aiden John (John after both grandfathers).
Team Green for only 3 more weeks! Should find out at our 16 week ultrasound. For girls names we like Joy and Prudence and for boys we only have Abram, Abe for short. We shall see!!
Team green here! Did it for dd and excited to do it again.
Boy names: Ethan John is number 1
Girl names: Abbie, Samantha, Stella no mn
Question...would you use the same middle name for kids? My mn is Mae after great grandma, and both grandmas, I gave it to dd and now am debating if no 2 should have the same or something different if it's another girl.
Leaving team green.. DH is too much of a planner and has convinced me that we should find out. Good luck to all of you! Love some of these names - if we weren't going with family names, I would totally copy Lucille @morganmcak !!

I don't think you necessarily need to feel like she has the same MN. My older sister got the family name and I have a different one, doesn't hurt my feelings. I like mine better anyway

Awww, you don't need to be Team Pink or Team Blue to plan!
I totally fell for that with DD2, and after she was born, I realized knowing ahead of time didn't actually make any difference. All my big ticket items were neutral colours that could be used for a boy or girl, and clothes and other small items that I would actually buy in girly or boyish colours go on sale all the time! (This is especially true if this is your first baby and you plan on having more than one.)
You don't need to let planning change your mind if you have your heart set on being green! Good luck either way though!
@anikajoy I loved knowing for my first because of the planning thing. I won't ever regret it. Hubby asked to go green this time so we are, and since all my clothes are wrong season anyway, doesn't really matter too much As PP said, all our furniture is neutral so won't matter to reuse. I also love blue so if it had been a girl, she was getting a blue room too lol!
Thank you for your input, @elbou and @agerstner ! We haven't come to a final decision yet.. DH is traveling for work this week, so we'll sit down and chat about it this weekend. Nice to have two different perspectives tho! Thanks again!

Team green with twins. We have no names picked out yet. We had the hardest time picking out names for our older two (son was 10 days old before he had a name) but I'm sure we'll come up with something!
We are team GREEN and very excited to find out when the baby comes. We are looking at names that can be either gender so we can go ahead and hopefully name the baby before it comes ... Our top name is Avery but it isn't for sure yet.
Team green here as well! EDD 11/15, and we have agreed on a surprising number of names! I printed 2 copies of the social security's 2014 list (just the top 500...things get weird below that)- gave one to DH, and we independently highlighted names we liked, then compared. It was fun, and very useful! Middle names are family names

Team green here too! EDD Nov 17. No clue on names because my husband and I are so last minute in choosing and are usually on opposite sides. MN for boy will most likely be Scott after my husband.
FTM and green for sure! I thought boy names would be easier but it's actually been girl names I've found more of. I like Odessa, Etta, Marlowe, Ollie, Laurel, Abilene..the list goes on..my partner is kind of leaving it to me if it is a girl. No mn yet! For a boy, my partner is set on Arsen. I like it a lot, but go back and forth.. I also like Gaige, Jude, Kian, Otto..lol. I have a feeling we won't know for sure until the lil thing I here!!

I'm sorry, but Arson is a crime...just wanted to be sure you knew that
We are team green too partly because I want it to be a surprise but also because where we live they won't tell you the sex of your baby during ultrasounds. I think we have settled on both a boy and girl name but my DH has said tree is still plenty of time to change our minds. In pretty set though so it would have to be an incredible name for me to change my mind. We have decided on Ainsley Rose for a girl and Wyatt James for a boy.
Just bought the most amazing t shirt. This is going to be my stock answer whenever someone asks me what I'm having! I got it from etsy, seller is called maternitees
So we discussed it and have decided we are definitely team green and OH is going to be the one who announces the gender when baby arrives. He's so excited and I can tell he feels a but left out sometimes, so I thought this would be a nice way to have him be the first to experience something. His face when I suggested it was lovely.
FTM and green for sure!

Lol, why are you sorry? I'm well aware it's a crime. A crime of passion and romance!!
Haha. Juuust kidding.
But really, it's one of those things where I love the way the word sounds, but more importantly the directly implied connotation is, to put it lightly, less than desirable to most.
My partner is so so set on it though..we have time and I'm continuously suggesting other names..
He has just been so flexible and thoughtful and completely unselfish, and this is truly the only thing he has asked for with all these random decisions we've had to make recently.
I've been hoping that it's one of those words or names that the more it gets used the less attached it will be to its negative background, like Leah or Emily I'm pretty sure (obviously, those names have less recent attachment to there unattractive etymology).
Still, all in all I'm ultimately leaving it up to my partner annnd all in all we will all have happy, healthy, hopefully morally adept children
