Hey everyone! New to the BMC. My name is Keira and I'm from Vermont. I am currently 11w1d due 12/2. I have one angel baby who I lost at 17 weeks last July. My DH is 33 and I am 32. Glad to have someone who understands what I mean when I say wicked:)
Welcome and it's wicked pissah (lol) that you're here. Congratulations!!! I'm sorry about your previous loss. I hope you've checked out the PGAL post (pregnant after a loss.) it's a great place to talk out fears and get support from women going through the same thing. Plus... I was waiting for someone from VT to represent:-)
And HELLO Connecticut!!! Glad to see you guys around! We won't tell the NY area board;-)
So last night I was in the hospital. We were in Labor & Delivery at Beth Israel because I had been bleeding. My mom and I are behind a curtain and we are sure we hear my husband talking to a nurse in a hushed voice. We both agreed that it sounded like him so we called his name. No answer. Called it again. He said "I'm not ya husband, sorry." So my mom said," oh, okay. Sorry, you sounded just like him. So he say "he sounds like a wicked smaaht guy!"
@Jazmine928 Yes! Someone one said, "Why all the rush?" I replied that we weren't rushing anything. Things just worked out the way they did and I wouldn't change it. Yes it's been busy, but we seemed to have done just fine.
Central ma! If any one is having twins I would love to share advise I have 20 month twin boys via ivf and we got a surprise pregnancy for this one due December 19!
We live just north of Boston. I'm 28 DH is 29 and we are expecting our first on 12/4 we're both thinking its a boy but we want to be surprised! We had been trying for 3 months and had anticipated having a hard time getting pregnant since DH has had testicular cancer twice. Luckily we had banked before his surgery just in case. Then he had to undergo chemo and that can lessen your chances a lot too. After the third month trying we were so lucky! We got a SA just to be sure and his counts are fine thank god so we didn't need to use the banked stuff!
28 yo, married this past July. DH is 29 yo and a 2 time cancer survivor. TTC for 2 months now
Hi Everyone I think I'm a little late to the party but happy to hear so many Boston Mamas!
Location: boston EDD: 12/19 I'm 27 my husband will be 28 when the little one arrives! This is our first pregnancy after infertility. It is still pretty surreal but I couldn't be happier!

@foliver82 thank you so very much! I really appreciate the thoughts and prayers!
@krick43 thank you dear! We had our D&C done on Wednesday late in the day at BI. They were amazing! Absolutely amazing! Do you mind my asking which practice you are with? I've had the chance to meet quite a few of the doctors now and I'm more impressed than ever with BI. Hopefully DH and I will get our rainbow baby soon and we will definitely be going back to Beth Israel.
How is everybody feeling? Has anybody been down to the comment to see the flags for memorial day?
@bostonbaby1 I work in Advanced Heart Failure as a nurse coordinator. Pretty different from OB! It really is a great place to work and I am super excited to be delivering here! I am so sorry to hear about your D&C! I'm thinking positive thoughts for you and hope you get your rainbow baby soon! xo
How is everyone doing? Wanted to check in on the New England ladies. BF and I are in Salisbury today for his interview so I'm hoping to make a beach stop afterwards! Currently about to see a movie while I'm waiting!
Thank you girls so much for the support! I'm still sticking around because we are not done yet. And welcome to our latest addition, @littlebean1222
@krick43 unfortunately, I have a ton of complications from my surgery and it took them two weeks to figure it out. I could've used an advanced heart failure nurse coordinator. My BP & pulse have been in the toilet. This morning my pulse was 42. Hard to lift my head off of the pillow. In any case, I went back into the ED and they managed to rectify the situation physically. I will still stay with BI, even with the complications.
Oh my gosh @bostonbaby1 I am SO sorry to hear that You have had such a rough few months but better days are ahead! Keep your head up! I am so glad you decided to stick around on the boards!! xoxo

Thank you so much sweetheart! It means a lot to me :-)
@A2Z44 welcome to the new England club! And definitely update us as to what the sex is!
I go to BIDMC... I have had the absolute best experiences with them! Do you have an OB right now? If you need a recommendation for an OB at BI, my doctor happens to be taking new patients right now I believe and if not, I've known her for 30 years so just let me know.

@LuvButters515 I'm delivering at BI ( I also work there) but I absolutely love my OB if you need a recommendation!
My babe is also a miracle babe! DH and I were suppose to do our fifth round of IVF in May after a failed one in December. I've had six losses and DOR. Then we got pregnant naturally in April. I'm due Dec 29th with my first. I'm on the south shore but will be delivering at NWH. I'm 28 DH is 31. Originally from Seattle but he's from here. Congrats everyone!

The good news was that I went right into labor & delivery and the hospital seems wonderful (from what I saw.)
I'm still around the boards and will be doing my D&C at BI tomorrow afternoon.
