Do you enjoy binge watching? If so, is there anything you're currently watching?
What does your dream house look like?
I am an executive assistant for the owners of a large company. It's actually a really interesting job.
I LOVE binge watching. The last thing I binged was Weeds and I loved it! I am currently bing watching the X-files even though I have already seen that series.
I love my current house, but I would love a big country style house with a wrap around porch. DH and I have opposite taste so when we eventually build it should be pretty tough.
What's the weirdest dream you have ever had and can remember?
I don't dream often and I honestly can't remember the last one I had. I know...such a lame answer. However, DH is deathly afraid of snakes and will have a snake dream about once every two weeks. When he has these dreams he usually kicks out in his sleep and wakes up in a total panic. It used to be kind of frightening, but I have gotten used to it.
Side note: My parents lost their house during Hurricane Gustav. I was living there at the time. We lost everything and it was pretty devastating at first. But I don't get attached to physical things as much anymore. Luckily the lamp and card were in a storage unit.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what fashion accessory would you want with you?
Oooh, good question. My first though is ponytail holder because sometimes I watch naked and afraid and the girl has her hair down the whole time and all I can think is, "NOOOOOO!" That would be horrible.
If I'm just trying to be fashionable though, I'm going with my big ass Kendra Scott earrings. Most people are either big earrings or big necklace people. I'm an earrings girl myself.

I heard this question on Parenthood last night! Someone picked an eyelash curler.

That seems odd. An eyelash curler didn't cross my mind for a second.
So, what was getting the IUI like? (It's ok if you don't feel like talking about this.)
I had the HSG yesterday, but the IUI is next Thursday!! I'm excited and assuming it will be pretty easy peasy. DH is an attorney and has to be in court that day so we are trying to figure it out. I can't move my ovulation and he can't move his trial. I think it may be weird if I have to go without him. I would like him to at least be there when he knocks me up haha. I don't think it bugs me too much that may have to go alone, but I'm worried about what the doctor and nurses will think. (I know this is lame, but I don't want them to think he is being a bad husband.)

You don't pay them to think, you pay them to get you KTFU!

What's something embarrassing about that you few people know?
Did you ever wish you could change your name as a child, and what to?
When DH and I had been dating for about a year we broke up for two weeks. He slept with another girl and didn't tell me. The way I found out about this is that about 10 months later when we were on our way to Dallas for and LSU game, said girl facebook messaged me a long mean message. It was probably the worse weekend of my life. We had signed a lease the week before to move in together. It was a HUGE deal and honestly probably wouldn't have been that big of a deal had he told me when we got back together. Obviously we are way past this now, but at the time I was super embarrassed because I felt like his friends knew, but I didn't. I didn't tell my friends or family because I didn't want them to judge me for staying with him.
When I was in middle school I was obsessed with wishing my name was Chasity, Gwen, or Madeline.
Any go-to jokes or ice breakers when you're meeting new people?
One of the reasons I like DH so much is that he is a TALKER. I am not much of a talker. It's not that I'm a bitch or socially awkward or anything, I'm just more introverted in social situations. It's nice to have DH to break the ice. He will usually bring up something that I'm into and then I can jump in the conversation without a problem.
I blame this on the fact that my best friends from kindergarten are still my best friends. It's been a long time since I have made a new friend on my own.

Sorry! I read your sig and the calendar in my head is all messed up. I think it's great that you're having such a positive attitude! I think those doctors have seen it all. And a man who's willing to the whole IUI thing - or just test his sperm, for that matter - is a solid husband in my book.
The first thing that I ever learned to make when I was in college was taco soup. It's cheap, makes a lot, and it's delicious. It is still one of my main go tos!
I've been in love three times. This seems like a lot.
I had a boyfriend in high school and the first year of college. I was in love with him in the only way it's possible to be in love with someone at that age. We were each others firsts. Now looking back I know it was a very young and naive love, but aren't those always the best? We are friends on facebook. He is married with two kids and we still keep in touch.
I on and off dated a guy through college. We were friends since we were 13. I loved him so much and we pretty much dated on and off until I met DH. Just seemed like we never had the right timing. We are still good friends and he even comes over for dinner with DH and I sometimes.
Would you have different rules for a boy vs. a girl? My curfew was always earlier than my brother's (dad was old-fashioned).
No I don't think I would! I only have a sister so I'm not sure how my parents would have done it. From seeing my sisters kids growing up I don't think there should be any different rules for your children, but I do think that sometimes children need to be disciplined differently. I don't think one disciplinary method works for all children.
Is your avatar really you? SO Beautiful! I really want to change mine, but have fears someone from my hometown will join TB and know my business.
It's me! And thank you! I'm pretty much an open book so I wasn't too worried about knowing someone. I would actually be pretty excited if someone I knew joined up and we could chat about it.
Tennis! I play tennis 3-5 times a week and absolutely love it. I also really like to read, but don't find myself having as much time to do it as I would like.
What is one thing you would do with/for your children that your parents did with/to you, and one thing you would do differently.
My parents bought me a car when I was 16. It was a used camry and the deal was that if they bought the car I had to pay for insurance and gas. I got a job as a cashier at a grocery store. My mom helped me open up a checking account. I will do this with my kids. I think it really helps to teach your child to be financially responsible and the value of money.
I thought my parents were great and did most things right! My parents weren't very healthy with us growing up food wise. I think that's what I will do differently. We ate lots of fried food and stuff that was bad for us. I think some if it had to do with the fact that my parents weren't well off enough to buy lots of fresh foods. We had lots of vienna sausage...We are fortunate enough to have the money and knowledge to teach our kids about healthy eating
I haven't been on TB that long to develop a real big pet peeve. The pee sticks are out of control, but I don't hate them because it's pretty entertaining what happened in the aftermath. I guess I just don't understand why someone would wait until they were able to post and just immediately think to post about themselves before even looking around a little.
Biggest pet peeve off is people who drive like asshats and people who bring shit tons of items into the 10 items or less line at the store.
What is one thing from your childless life that you will miss when you take your baby home from the hospital?
Spending so much alone time with DH. It's honestly the thing I stress about the most. I'm so happy in our marriage and relationship that it scares me a bit adding something to it and how it will change our dynamic.
