It is a fluid filled Fallopian tube that is blocked at one end (I think mine is at the distill end but I don't remember). If the tube isn't 100% blocked and the fluid can leak out, it is poisonous to an egg and can cause it to degrade prematurely or it can "wash" it out of the uterus before it has a chance to implant. I'm also 80% increased risk of ectopic & require early scans in the event of pregnancy. The thing I hate most about it is the cause, which for me is unknown but often an STD causes it. I've never have had it and most doctors think I'm lying.

Favorite junk food is chipsahoy cookies or Mexican food.

She made me want to scream this week when she was basically screaming during dinner prep to be held but I couldn't because I was cooking. She made me smile when she finally started saying her name!

I will limit the amount of guests I have in the hospital & absolutely not give up on breastfeeding so early. Happiest with my choice of OB. Love her!

Thanks! It sucks. It really does. I am just very, very thankful that my right tube, thus far, is unaffected & usable. If I had 2 hydros IVF would have been our only option. Can't afford that!

@Everycol0r so sorry you've had to deal with that too. Are there any symptoms/clues as to tube blockage (I'm just being paranoid of course) but I've read that there are really no symptoms other than trouble ttc?

I think I use to smile a lot more when I was younger. I am working on finding more joy in the little things lately!

It is symptomless. Just lack of conception is really the only thing. After I was diagnosed, I do sometimes feel some pain on the left side that I think is caused by the tube than the ovary. But pain from a hydro is rare & mine is rather big. I've had it since I was 16 (and possibly before), well before I was sexually active.

To do what she loves in life. I hate the idea that college is the only path in life. I want her to be true to herself & to follow the road that calls to her no matter what it is. I also come from a very diverse family culturally & sexually and want her to be just as accepting of others differences as I am.

Hands down my grandmother. I know what adversities in life she overcame & I love the hard ass person she is because of it. Side note: Her & my grandfather had 10 children, all yours, mine & adopted.

I would only want to live realistically in Texas, where I am already. But sometimes I jest with DH about moving to the Netherlands.

Why The Netherlands?

It's beautiful & I've read that the quality of life there is so much better. In general is seems like Europe values humanity more than the U.S. But I love me some Texas, so it would be hard to leave.

My first kiss, I was 14 & it was with my very first boyfriend. It was in his neighborhood under a large tree. I slipped & fell in the mud. I had to borrow clothes from his mom that were much to big & go home. Fabulous!

I can't say I would do anything differently in my life. All the choices I've made have made me who I am today. I might, however, not rushed into buying a house so far from my family.

How great a father he is. Sometimes I just can't believe it, he's fantastic. Like, yesterday when he got home after working 11 hours standing on his feet, DD brought him 2 books as he walked in the door & they sat in the hall on the hard tile & read them together.

My dream house would look like the cottage mansion from The Proposal. Love it!
