At least ALS actually did raise money. Nobody's going to be like well damn, someone tricked me into thinking they are pregnant or are wearing black underwear, let me write a check!
And UO... I think a lot of breast cancer stuff is shady as fuck (I'm looking at you, Susan Komen) and kind of hogs more attention than it deserves. Yeah it's a terrible disease, but also very treatable. I'd much rather get a dx of breast cancer than, say, brain cancer. Or how about we teach more women and health practitioners that yes, women can have heart attacks too, and they present VERY differently than the "textbook" (aka male) heart attack.
In general, I hate "awareness". Go out and do something, you lazy fuck.

Ok this is super dumb and not funny at all..... this is why I hate Facebook
So, had a crazy stomach flu yesterday that turned into a possible kidney infection or kidney stones. Went into ER today with fever and all kinds of body aches. After getting blood drawn was pulled into CT scan and while waiting for the CT scan to start, the doctor came in and says I can't get the CT scan because they found HCG in my bloods. So, get pulled out of CT and they do more testing on my blood, oh wait JK labs got my bloods wrong amd theres no hcg. WTF. Thanks for that one.....come to find out I have a 5mm ovarian cyst causing me all the back and side pain. Just what I want to hear after a fake positive blood test.....

Gahh, thanks ladies. Frickin made me not be able to sleep at all last night because the room I got the ultrasound in was the room where we first ever saw our babies for the first time because I thought I was miscarrying then but wasn't until 5 weeks later. So my brain was mush and still is after all that jazz and fun. Poor husband ended up with the stomach flu too. So many things to disinfect!!!
