I'm starting to get some ambiguous lower abdomen cramping. It's dull and inconsistent. Not sure if it's contractions of some stripe, indigestion, or really nothing at all.
YES. THIS.
That is how I felt before going to l&d Sunday night but my back was sore like I had been sitting in a bad chair. I got sent home since I wasn't at their threshold to keep. I didn't go in until it wouldn't stop for an hour and sitting up was awful.
I think anxiety is my biggest symptom since I have my induction set up and my fluids are just above the point of concern low...I'm just ready for LO to be here and be done with the 3 appointments every week and bed rest that doesn't feel restful because let's be honest here, this house looks like a pigsty if I don't clean it and Netflix bores me after not too long (although they can remedy that by releasing OiNTB sooner...). In other symptoms news: I pee all night, acid reflux is killing me and my skin is being evil and dry again because I need to go buy more coconut oil. They so lied about the glow.
I think I may have dropped a little, I can't feel him up as high as he was. This is resulting in intense pelvic pressure and feeling like I'm going to pee myself and only peeing a little when I go. I also really need this hemorrhoid to go away so I can go get waxed. I guess if it doesn't I'll just have them ignore that area. I'd also love to be able to see my ankle bones.
So, here is a crazy/silly thought that just popped in my head, will the skin on my feet be saggy after the swelling goes down? I know the answer is no but its still an irrational fear.
So sleepy and ready to be done with work! Heartburn but it comes and goes. It's the worst after dinner, and I've been trying to eat earlier. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. I had our school nurse take my blood pressure because I felt slightly dizzy/off balance. It was fine, so I guess it's just hormones. Happy hump day, ladies!
@frankengibbs I have had horribly dry skin this entire pregnancy. I also have eczema that has gotten worse as well. I had to stop using my medication to help control my symptoms, of course, and the remedies my docs have given me are not helping. I never thought about coconut oil because I know very little about it. Is there a specific kind you buy that helps with the dry skin?
@courtneyp22 For the coconut oil I look for one that is organic, unrefined and doesn't have any additives. You can find a jar in the baking/oil aisle of the grocery store. It is a solid at room temperature (so you'll need a spoon to scoop it out) and the when you put it in your hand/on your skin it melts into an oil with your body heat.

thanks so much in advance for the info!
I just use the organic kind you buy from Walmart, it comes in a jar. I was really skeptical at first because I'm not much for Pintrest trends, but it really has helped. I use it in the shower after exfoliating my face with a washcloth, then I pat dry and reapply a little that I let soak in before using my normal moisturizer. It keeps me from having to reapply cream to my skin all day. Also, not sure what kind of dryness you're experiencing, but basically mine is chaffed and almost behaves like its trying to recover from a bad sunburn. It's to the point where if it doesn't go away after LO is born, I will be seeing a dermatologist. Hopefully it works for you! There are a couple threads on coconut oil that you might want to check out too, just type in coconut oil into the search bar.
Does this gif play ?!ahhh it does but you have to click on the link !
I clicked it! I clicked it even before I saw you tagged me in it, lol. I was like 'ooh! A storm trooper!' And then did a little chest and head boogie with him once he got his groove on. ❤ you @klkonwi - you always find me cool star wars stuff and make me smile
The back pain is brutal today! Cramping, contractions, and horendous back pain! 37wks, and I'm over it! 2 weeks from today is my induction....wonder if I'll last that long?!
@dancegurl1118 I have the opposite problem tonight - I want to eat SO BAD but baby's positioned weird on my stomach so I'm having heartburn and I feel like if I try to eat I'll get sick, because I don't feel like I have any room left in my belly for food. But I still want to eat. Ugh third trimester struggles!
@dancegurl1118 trust me, I've posted lately a few times that I'm a bottomless pit... it should be the opposite at this point?.. The worst is the middle of the night feasts... While sitting on the toilet I can usually get two pees in the time I'm sitting and eating one of my snack sessions, now that's productive multi tasking

Saw an actual Darth Vader quilt at Pottery Barn Kids tonight! Haha it was awesome.
One if my big teeth started to get all sensitive today. I'm starting to think my tooth is my emotions barometer, because lord almighty I cannot keep those in check either. One minute I'm raging hot the other I'm crying. My son keeps asking me why are you sad momma? Well.....it's complicated. :-S He did tell me tonight that I was the best mom ever and his favorite momma...that made my heart swell and I burst into tears. He's such a sweet kid. ❤️
Thanks so much @lovethatcolosun and @frankengibbs for the extra info! I am going to pick up some coconut oil and give it a try. I don't have much time left in the pregnancy but if this works now, it will likely be a great alternative to meds after the baby comes as well!
I'm 35 weeks today... My hips hurt so bad when I sleep.. Almost like a burning sensation and the only way I can sleep is reclined on the couch. Exhaustion has hit hard and with a toddler sleeping or taking naps is not an option. Otherwise I just feel heavy and need to take more breaks when doing things around the house. Can't wait to meet this little girl
@croberts710 I am right there with you. LO turned last night and moved south and now I feel like he's going to fall out if I stand too much. Swept and mopped and basically feel like I climbed Mt. Everest. DH brought me cheesecake and tucked me in bed. I could get used to that part.
Re: Daily symptoms 5/20
ETA: i also have like a constant feeling of nausea whenever i eat.

Seriously when does this "lessened appetite" kick in because I feel like I'm back to 28 weeks when all I could think about was food.
@Westypet a Darth Vader quilt? That IS awesome!
