Strong country influenced names

I come from a long line of farmers growing up in the country and I'd love a country inspired baby name but new help coming up with some. I also like traditional names but not popular ones (ie in top 50). The country names that appeal to me are ones like Austin or Dustin not Jack or Harry etc. Needing both genders. Thanks!

FWIW, DH wanted to name our kids William Robert and Margaret Josephine, NNs Billy Bob and Maggie Jo. I thought that was a little TOO country for me.

Actually, you totally hit the nail on the head as to why we used it on the cat! I love Alice in Wonderland :-) I'm just sad that I can't use it on our daughter now-- don't think I could ever get over the feeling that I named my kid after the cat!

Y'all must be mind readers LOL! Alice was my #1 name for a looooong time. DS would have been Alice if he had been a girl :-) it doesn't go very well with our favorite middle name though, so we've probably let it go. Never say never, though!

Lol! Hahaha, that's actually kinda cute. At least they put Strawberry in the middle name spot... if you're gonna give an odd name like that then the middle name spot is the best way to go.

Beaulynn, on the other hand, is absolutely horrendous! They would have been better off with a traditional first name like Elizabeth or Claire to pair with such a cutsie middle name. Beaulynn is made up tacky town! :-&

I know a girl named BoDixie! No lie. Her brother's name is Shedd.

I've only met her once. I actually named my dog Bo Dixie! Not after her or anything. Just thought it was a good dog name! Lol
