  • I didnt find this out until my second pregnancy but my doctor said you can eat almost anything you ate before pregnancy including sushi. If it didnt make you sick before chances are it wont make you sick now. She said everything in moderation is fine. What i miss the most is energy!!! This is my third pregnancy and i dont remember being this tired with the other too. But like my husband said...if you remembered all the rough stuff chances are you wont willingly go through it again. Lol

  • Wine. I miss wine soooooo much. A nice cold white wine while sitting in the sun in our backyard. As thankful as I am that I got pregnant on my first try, I feel like I didn't get to say a proper goodbye to wine! lol
  • me too!! Prior to pregnancy I was a 3 shot in my coffee kind of girl ( of espresso that is..LOL) and I loved winding down the night with a glass -or - uhm- a bottle of wine. Now the thought of either sends me into barfville.

    And I'm TOTALLY with you. SO happy I got pregnant on our first try, but no proper farewell to wine. Since it was still pretty cold out at the time, it probably would've been a nice, rich zin. Maybe followed by a glass of port with dessert.

    Wine, wine, wine.. Oh and a cold beer on a warm day. This summer is going to be rough!!
  • I am lucky enough to work with my Ob. She is also pregnant. I have seen her eat subway with my own eyes:) last year there was a listeria outbreak in fresh fruit. Nectarines and something else? I still eat nectarines and subway. Btw.....I'm missing wine, coconut rum with pineapple juice, more than one cup of coffee a day, my old bras, and a full nights rest without waking up to pee. Oh and I miss not having to take miralax daily

    Super easy and delish! I combined two different recipes from Pinterest and we tested it the day before we found out. It was delish, but sneakily strong! >:)

  • Another Oregon Mom! A Crux beer sounds soooo good, and I really really miss the levety that a glass of wine could bring to an evening. I thought about camping for the weekend, but stumbling out of the tent to pee at 4:45am sounded cold and miserable! Have fun!

    I miss a cold glass of Rose! When this little one arrives it won't exactly be the season, but I might just have to have one in december anyway ;) 

  • I miss sweet stuff, coffee, sex (I have NO desire!), and smiling.

    This is me to a T! We're on our anniversary trip and I keep promising my hubby that we'll have a fun time (at dinner and in bed later) but.... Nope. I feel so nauseous when we get there that I don't even order real food, then feel miserable for hours afterwards. Boo

    I just want a beer.

    I give in to my sushi craving about twice a trimester (I'm a terrible pregnant lady).
    But coffee, and being more affectionate with the hubby. I'm just a huge ray of f-cking sunshine here lately lol.

    Oh man! Crux is one of my favorites! Yea I thought about the constant peeing in the middle of the night thing too but this trip has been planned since before I knew I was pregnant and I love camping so much and haven't been in awhile so we shall see how it goes. Ha!

  • Sitting in the hot tub relaxing. My husband and I just got back from a cruise and all I wanted to do was join him in the hot tub! That and not feeling nauseous all the time!
  • California rolls and gin and tonics....
  • Sleeping more than two or three consecutive hours lol i know its over for a while now. Also eating anything and not barfing it up ten minutes later. Oh and pooping.
  • I miss my vodka and monster..!! Since I got pregnant coffee, monsters any of it makes me wanna throw up at the smell.. I miss chicken..!! I miss Mexican food.. I love Mexican food
  • I thought it would be wine, but the thought at this point make my stomach turn. I feel anti-social because I don't want to go to the events that have wine when I can't have it!

    I miss not having to think so hard about the risk of what I am eating (and I am a dietitian so I always think about it--but this is a whole new level!). I am suprised at how much I miss my once a week to every 2 weeks sub from jimmy john's! I recently was traveling and passed firehouse subs I swear it is the best thing I have eaten since I found out. The risk from listeria is that it can cause miscarriages and stillbirths so I am definitely avoiding the un-reheated deli meats, blue bell ice cream and unpasteurized soft cheese. My best friends mom in elementary school actually lost a baby over the listeria in schwann's ice cream. 

    I miss not thinking about whether or not goat cheese, feta cheese and blue veined cheese is pasteurized and possibly okay or not and a much higher risk. 

    I had fully cooked sushi last night and it just was not the same!

    Being able to feel like just a person, not a consrantly.worried high risk pregnant t person who isn't allowed to lift anything or be exerted in anyway.

    You can have California rolls. Just tell them not to put on the fish eggs outside.
  • I miss wine. Coming home from a long day of work and having a big glass of ice cold moscato... Also we used to do Friday night margaritas with our friends...
  • I'm not a big drinker but every time I am pregnant I crave strawberry margarita lol. So that is something I miss. I really miss sex hahaha! Just not in the mood ever I feel sorry for the hubs.

    I MISS SEX. I'm on restrictions until 2nd tri because of a SCH and I feel like I'm going to explode lol And drinking by the pool on the weekends. Virgin dacquiris just don't cut it and quite honestly aren't worth the calories.

  • I didn't think I'd miss it so much...but kombucha. :( I've read from a few different articles that they don't know if it's safe during pregnancy. It's so good though and ive been craving it all week!
  • When I saw the title I immediately thought, "VODKA!"

    I also am sad I won't be able to go to this amazing new water park in my area and do all the slides like I was looking forward to all winter. There is always next summer...if I can find a sitter ;)

    Oh, and sushi! Uninhibited sushi eating...I miss that.

    Medium rare steaks.
    Soccer.
    Wine.
    Not being a picky eater.
  • Summer beers, white tuna sushi, the ease of having chicken for dinner (chicken makes me want to barf), being able to run a mile without getting overheated/out of breath, and sleeping the whole night through without waking up to a bladder that is about to explode!

    While I do miss wine, margaritas, and alcohol I'm general, I'm happy to say I DON'T miss the headache the next morning!
  • I miss summer drinks (and the buzz that goes with them) on a patio at sunset... and being skinny (wasn't at my goal weight when found out pregnant... I blame the boyfriend)

  • I miss actually being able to be in the same room with SO for more than 15 minutes. All the things I love about him when I'm not pregnant totally irritate me now. And I'd love to not get so angry all the time!

  • Alcohol: wine, beer, dirty martinis. Lately I've been day dreaming of champagne....
  • I miss feeling like myself! I also miss coffee (grossed out now) and like everyone has said I miss my Ham and havarti sandwich :( I miss exercise, im so tired and have been nauseous I have no energy to even get to exercising and when I do go for a long walk I'm out of breath quickly. But yes happy to be pregnant and hope the 2nd tri which is so soon! Will be better.
  • Raw oysters. We were thinking of having out babymoon in Seattle, but not worth the trip if I can't have smoked salmon and oysters.

    I'd give my left arm for a COLD turkey sandwich or a Lunchable!! I know I can heart the turkey up, but it's just not the same. I asked doc at my appointment last week about turkey. I said, c'mon, can I really not have turkey even just once in a blue moon? Her answer is a resounding NO. :( Boo. She said I could have it heated but not cold. I already told hubby the first thing I want to eat after giving birth is a big huge Turkey Tom sandwich from Jimmy John's!!
  • Feeling normal and like I can control how my body feels by eating and working out. Hmph.
