although you can test / preview your ability to create a siggy or gif in the signature settings page, maybe having a thread will encourage all of you without one to get on board.
please people - change your avatar, and create a signature, even if it just has a ticker. read the "read me first" post for help, and ask for further help if you need it.
use this space to test it out. try out making gifs and loading pictures. @tromboner can post her helpful advice for gif'ing while on mobile platforms.
see if we can find any more neat graphics like @bumwaters did with the

I'm so proud of all the mobile gifs.
I will add that your siggy will update on everything you post so you can post here to test, but then you can keep coming back to that same post to see your changes.
How I felt when dd woke up at 3 this morning after sleeping through the night the 3 nights before that!

If you have the html code of your ticker click on you avatar to the left of any of your posts. That will take you to a screen like this. Select the person icon in the top right to get to your Preferences.
Then look below your avatar for Signature Settings...
Now you are in this screen and can do everything you can do in a post.... type words, insert pictures and links (using the little picture and link pictures to insert html code).... but what you want to add a ticker is to select the html edit tool and paste the html code for your ticker there. If you hit the button again after pasting, your ticker will show up in the box.
Once you're happy with your siggy then hit save and come back to this page (or any of your posts) to check it. You DO NOT NEED to post again. Your new siggy will show up on all of your posts.
