Fitting into a bra comfortably. My comfy pants being comfy (they make me itch like a drug addict while pregnant apparently) Not being grossed out while thinking about eating food.
Blue cheese!! I can't eat buffalo wings without blue cheese, and my favorite salad from friendlys doesn't taste the same without blue cheese dressing, and bacon and blue burgers, and buffalo chicken dip!! Boo
Raw oysters and margaritas! Were going to the beach in June and this is the first year I won't be able to have my annual pineapple willy (it is the best drink ever!)
WINE!!! We just had a girls night and watched 50 Shades of Grey (disappointing, by the way), and all I wanted was a glass (ok, let's be honest, 3 glasses) of wine!
I am with you on that! Our 6th anniversary is coming up and I was trying to figure out how we could celebrate. Apparently the traditional gift for the 6th is candy and I thought, 'Perfect! We can go to Hersheypark!'
Sub sandwiches. My work cafeteria makes the best and I'm sad I can't have them!
I feel bad for the ladies who are being so strict they can't enjoy a sub sandwich!! If it's from subway or any other large chain...,YOU ARE FINE. Not one person has gotten listeria from eating cold cuts from subway.
Oh good because lately that's all I can stomach for lunch!
Bud Light and feta are two of my faves that I'm missing. Not so much missing alcohol as I am jealous of everyone I see drinking at the beach this time of year.
Wine and margaritas. Worst so far: we found out the day before Easter. Our contribution to Easter brunch was gallons of Strawberry Lemonade Moscato Sangria. I wanted to cry.
I miss my girlie drinks. We have tossed around the idea of a babymoon, but most places I'm like, "Is it worth it if I can't enjoy a cocktail or two on the beach?" So sad.
A friend posted a pic on fb the other day of something that looked delicious and fruity. So jealous.
I sound like an alcoholic and I don't even care. :-q
Bloody Mary's, IPAs, and raw oysters. Ugh summer is going to be tough here in Florida without getting to crack open an ice cold beer sigh. Worth it in the end of course tho but it sure is missed!
Sub sandwiches. My work cafeteria makes the best and I'm sad I can't have them!
Why can't you have them? I've never heard of anything being wrong with sub sandwiches! There are so Many rules I don't know about! I have so much to learn.
Oysters, sushi and bloody Marys for sure. I really just miss food in general - actually looking forward to eating and wanting to go out to dinner and try new things. Heading to New Orleans next weekend and really hoping I'll feel up to all the delicious food there I keep hearing about!

AMEN. THIS^^^
I have now seen 2 different OB'S and a 2 midwifes who told me cold cuts are fine amd if you're that worried about them warm them up first. But as my OB pointed out all recent cases of listeria were found in fresh produce anyways and I know no one's throwing a fit over a pregnant women eating spinach. The only problem my midwives have with lunch meat are nitrates and my favorite brand is nitrate free anyways.

what about bluebell ice cream that was a scary week for me I had been eating it like crazy and then they tell us people are getting listeria :-SS
I miss London Pride Ale, I live a stones throw from a pub as well so it's like daily torture and, not feeling sick CONSTANTLY and I do mean constantly. Will all be worth it in the end though (:
Summers here and i cant have my bbq beers or play softball!!!!!!......technically i could play but its too risky...ill just be the cheerleader this year hahaha
Rare meat, wine, margaritas, beer on a warm summer day...not having to read the ingredients super carefully and I really miss not feeling nauseous all the time!

Everything that I've read says don't touch deli meat unless you hear it up to steaming because of the risk of listeria.
I'm definitely going to talk to my doctor now though, because it sounds like others have gotten the go ahead!
@evemis - rare meat! It makes me sad I can't have a good steak too. We're going out for our anniversary next week to a steak place and I'll have to get chicken or something:-(
August '18 March Siggy Challenge - You had ONE JOB
You and me both! I'm completely turned off by any kind of alcohol, but at the same time I miss having a glass of wine or a beer on the patio at night.
I get migraines and have Chronic Persistent Daily Headache and it seems like it's just constant lately. My OB gave me something new today, so I'm crossing my fingers.
How were you diagnosed with that? Was that due to pregnancy or something you had previously?
Before. A couple years ago I wound up in the ER 4 days in a row, got sent to a neurologist and that's what he diagnosed me with. It's nice to know it's not a tumor, but there's nothing really he can do about it. They took me off all of my preventative stuff when I got pregnant and it has SUCKED. I'm lucky I haven't landed in the hospital yet.
Ugh good luck to you. I've had terrible headaches the last two weeks but nothing ER-worthy. I'm calling my OB today to get some ideas on what I can do to alleviate them but we'll see. I hope whatever your doc gave you today works for you!
Try some peppermint essential oil (therapeutic grade) on your neck, shoulders and temples. That's the only thing that helps me. Tylenol is a waste of money!

Omg that sounds good! I want a recipe for after this baby is born!

Hate to be a downer but I actually did get listeria from subway turkey like 5 years ago. I was so sick, it was awful. I'm still eating turkey during pregnancy but I do warm it first.
I miss mojitos, we grow fresh mint and strawberries and my DH makes them amazing! I also miss sleeping through the night without peeing 2 million times!
I miss chocolate! Haven't had any in 2 months because the idea of it disgusts me. I used to be a chocolate addict! Generally miss not feeling tired and sluggish all day, and not having nausea randomly throughout the day. I miss having more energy! Hopefully that'll come soon with the second trimester approaching.
I just got back from vacation in FL; I stayed off the app and feel like I missed so much!
I miss knowing what my physical limits are - I did too much walking-in-the-hot-sun and not enough water-drinking on my first day away: got a migraine and threw up 4x in the elevator on the way back to our hotel room. Took it easy after that! #charming
I miss sushi, having energy, not being repulsed by the thought of eating. I miss the one Diet Coke a week I'd let myself have, and the cigarette-after-two-glasses-of-wine I'd have every few months. I know when football season starts, I'll miss beer!
Most of all, I miss not having my thoughts dominated by hyper-awareness: can I eat that? Am I going to trip? Is it too hot? Too cold? Am I feeling okay? I don't know how to not be that way, just yet. Two losses before this pregnancy, and I'm 11w2d into this one so my mental grip is letting up slightly. Whew.
