been admitted at 5cm 90%. Little girl is coming today!!! Please say a quick prayer for us and the staff and all who are involved with us today.. 13 days before due date. Little girl is eager:)

So far so good. Had some pretty excruciating contractions for a bit but after the ole epi I am doing much better. I will say I didn't expect it to make my body so heavy!!! Been asleep since 11:30 and I am now at 7. I'm pretty proud of my body at this point. I forgot my body knows what to do even if I don't. Baby girl should be here by the end of the day if all stays on track. I hear the last stage is nothing like the beginning but it can drag on. Not like I've been up all night counting contractions...Thank you all for your T&P. You ladies are wonderful.

I know people say "you will just know" but I didn't. I just knew that the contractions hurt like Hades and something was off. After already having a false alarm I was hesitant to return 24 hours later. I'm glad I did.

Dilating nice and steady and now we are stuck at nine:( Poor girl is going to have a cone head. Thank goodness for newborn hats. Doc inserted a pressure cath to watch my contractions from the inside. I am the lucky gal who got back labor. THE WORST. So apparently it doesn't show as strong on the contraction monitor. He said it's a waiting game and since I have done so well he is letting Mother Nature take its course. He is wonderful. Very supportive of women and babies.
