@finchfeeder80@mellymar and anyone else with heartburn. I have another app that says to eat very ripe papaya and almonds to help with heartburn. I've been eating almonds just because I like them.... And can't say they do anything lol Maybe we should give papaya a try?

Mmmm, papaya. Now I'm trying to remember if they have that at my grocery. I know they have mangos. I wonder if dried papaya would work? I know I can find that

A friend suggested "papaya enzymes" to me as a heartburn remedy. I ordered off amazon but surely they have them in the health section or a vitamin store.
I just finished eating breakfast which means for the next two hours I'm going to be really uncomfortable - baby moving around and pressing on my stomach and everything else in there. If previous days are any indication, I'll feel either like I'm going to puke, or have a massive poop, or both. Bleh. Post meal stuff aside, back pain from my poor posture combined with however many pounds of bump. Tired but unable to sleep. Nervous about stuff I still need to do or purchase. @amhowell14 been there with the allergies, nasal drainage with sore throat and cough. Its a total drag and I hope your resolves sooner than mine did. @klkonwi yeah, to me it seems like whichever way a lay or sit its just not working out for both us. Either baby is comfortable, but I'm not, or I'm comfortable and baby is letting it be known I need to move. So usually we're both just uncomfortable.
On a positive note, last night while trying to fall asleep baby definitely had the hiccups, which a lot of you have talked about but I hadn't noticed yet. It was funny, actually. Too bad DH was already asleep (damn him!) so he couldn't feel. Also noticed that I'm pretty sure I'd felt that before, and just hadn't realized what it was. So, yeah, I'm oblivious :-??
@klkonwi I always feel like I'm squashing him when I lay on my left side!
@mellymar I feel like there's so much left to do to get ready in 4 weeks, and that's if baby comes on time, and not early! It really is nerve-wracking to try to prepare for something that really does require a lot of flexibility. :-( My hormones are telling me to plan, plan, plan, but my body is finally starting to say no, no, no.
@KarasTwin@amccoy129 I was SO good on swelling until this week! Now I feel like everything makes me swell in my feet, and I had to take off the rings, too. I went up from a size 4 to a size 7!! I bought the $10 special at Target, and it is just terrible to think about. I get emotional thinking that for 3 years I've never taken them off, and now they have to go. Wah! For as much security as Target places on their $10 costume jewelry, they should be prettier!
I'm having random pains in the ball of right foot (either from walking around, from swelling, or something else...), and my pinky toe hurts to walk on. I don't remember bumping it on anything, but it's super tender.
My joints in my hands are crazy stiff, which is a new, fun development. :-/
Other symptoms du jour: Insomnia, heartburn, constipation, anxiety, moodiness, increased appetite, and clumsiness. Oh WOW, the clumsiness!
I opened the bathroom door this morning and whacked my belly really hard with the door handle. There's already a bruise! Baby has been moving, so I'm trying not to worry, but dang... OW!!!
My ever present contractions got scary this morning. Closer than 5 minutes apart for over an hour. I was ready to call it labor and head to the hospital when they slowly started to space back out. Now we are back to my normal 1-2 an hour. Keep working Procardia! I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow. Just a little ways to go before I'm in a safer zone.

I got mine from the Lauren Conrad line at target. 2 for 9.80. I never take my rings off and we're coming up on 2 years. I still stare at them sometimes
Oh and are stomach noises a symptom? Lately when I lay down, no matter what position I'm in, my stomach gurgles and growls LOUDLY for like 30 minutes. It's audible to other people and annoying for me. I always wonder how loud that must sound to the baby. I mean, he's right there with it! I'm surprised I don't get more Be Quiet kicks.
Swelling, swelling, and more swelling. My CS is scheduled for 6/1 but this kid may be delivered next week if things get worse. Thank goodness we are not going to pregnant in the horrid summer months ladies!
A lot of pressure today, considering we walked the boardwalk yesterday in the heat and humidity! 37 weeks tomorrow, 2 more to go until my scheduled c-section.
On another note, I call the hospital in regards to pre admission blood work and do you know the lady in scheduling told me she had no idea what the dr wanted done because they had no paperwork on me! I was furious being this has been scheduled since March 1. Now I am waiting on a call back from the scheduling lady to see if she got the fax from the Drs office! So much for being proactive! I can't wait for them I have two other little people who's lives and schedules I have to consider!

I read somewhere (can't at all remember where) that all the noises inside of us sound as loud as a vacuum cleaner to baby. So I'm imagining stomach gurgles aren't a big deal for them. They're probably used to it.
They do mention the enzymes. They say it has to be very ripe because unripe can cause contractions. Lol
Great! Now everyone who is 'just over being pregnant' is going to rush to the store to buy up all the unripe papayas!! 8-}
Not me! My store does NOT have papayas! In either the ripe, unripe, or dried kind. No papayas of any sort. May all the ladies who get the wrong kind of papaya ideas be similarly vexed.
In short, if you're going for heartburn, I hope you find them. If you're going for contractions, I lay a papaya curse upon you and all whom you send on this errand.
I'm getting super anxious and nervous about the impending birth. Our apartment being an unorganized mess (we are moving in July) is driving me up a wall and I'm a very messy person to begin with.
I also had to stay up for 24 hours straight and my contractions got really painful this morning. I definitely think it was from being overtired but it was uncomfortable. 3 more weeks of cooking this baby!
TTC: 1/2014

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
Crampy, stomach/lower back pain, labor? haha I swear, I feel like I'm going to be one of those people having her baby on the side of the road b/c she didn't realize she was in labor. I think it's time to do a bump/google search on how to tell when labor starts.
Yes! This is me. At least we don't post individual thread on it.
