First timer over here. I had my 37 week appointment yesterday and was dilated to a 2 and was a little over 50% effaced. I lost my mucus plug this morning. I think I've felt a few contractions but have absolutely no idea what to expect when they really start. Baby girl is still moving all over the place like she has been the entire pregnancy. But occasionally while she's moving it's getting pretty painful - it's feeling like she's moving in every direction at once. We've been able to see her moving for quite a while now, but this has been huge movements and my entire abdomen feels very right when it happens. Could this be a sign of early contractions or am I reading too much into it? Thanks for the help!
@klkonwi had some great advice for the previous poster. It's a hard thing to know for sure what your body will do next. I'd say that 1) you could call your doc for reassurance or 2) wait for the active labor contractions like klkonwi described above. You'll know they are "the ones" because you can't walk or talk when they happen. Not sure if this helps you, so maybe contact your doc if you're still feeling unsure.
I swear to the gods, any time I eat I spend an hour or more afterward just miserable. There just is not enough room for baby, stomach, and lungs in there. I have to get up and stand / walk around so that everything works itself into place. :-<
I've had the BH all afternoon. It's like they won't let go. I'm finally laying down in bed so I hope they subside soon. I tried taking a soothing bath earlier only to have my toddler come and harass me. He eventually ended up in the tub with me, so relaxing...it was not. It's hard to just take it easy when having BH with a toddler running about. I feel for all the ladies with irritable uterus. I would be calling my mommy to come over to take care of me and DS immediately if that was one of my symptoms. Props to u ladies.
Just got home and still no kitties they may have ran off or someone has found them and kept them. I'm hoping @lovethatcolosun I wish I could! I most definitely would enjoy it.

This makes me so sad for you. Maybe they'll turn up tomorrow. You are seriously a saint for putting up with your MIL. I would have lost my shit a long long time ago. I still think it's funny u don't make food for her and she eats her canned chili. Prayers for you tonight.
@devyns2nd you're a saint for not punching that old bag in the throat. And I love old ladies. She sounds just horrible. So so sorry about the kittens, and here's hoping for a miracle.
Symptoms: my dreams are crazy vivid, complex and out of control again!
ETA: woke up alone in bed. Poor DH had vacated the premises due to my snoring!
Also: apparently waking up and rapid fire responding to last night's thread, is another symptom. Sorry ladies... :-h
