i want one as unique as my sons middle name (Xadrian) but without it being over the top. And I can't figure out any names I like for either gender. What sort of unique names do u guys like?
I did. My sons name is a name that I knew I would name my child since I was really young. I want to fall in love with a name like that again but it seems impossible lol
You could try making one up. Make a list of sounds, letters, and syllables that like and see what fits together.
I'm often inspired by literature, mythology, and movies/tv shows. Japanese names are super cool too. I also love j names and French names. If you can figure out a few categories like this that appeal to you you can narrow your search a little.
For girls I like, Midori Nausicaa Athena Alethea Danae Marguerite Lygia Jocelyn Josette Jacqueline Jolene

Please don't do that. It is not our job as parents or future parents to "make up" names. Try looking at names outside the top 1000 if you want to go unique. Sites like Nameberry also have tools where you can input names you like and they will give you other similar names. Review Behind the Name to make sure any suggestions are real names and not made up.
The make your own name thing isn't my style by a long shot, but if it sounds nice and is spelled phonetically so pronunciation isn't an issue I wouldn't judge as harshly as the pp. I know many people with interesting names and they catch my attention and I don't forget it. I have a friend named Larkin which is weird, but I love it and it fits her personality.
