I have put in my time on this board. I've enjoyed quite a few giggles and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit morbidly curious about how the arguments might go down.
Now, my FFFC, I'm really put off and upset by meanness posing as "honesty". Mostly the whole snark thing is just an excuse to be mean while hiding behind a computer screen.
I understand how we all get tired of the same old posts or how certain issues can be very heated and offensive but there are better ways of dealing with that. Judging, saying hurtful things, complaining about it and/or fighting just don't seem to be working. If you respond to those threads, you're part of the problem. Either get creative and start your own discussions (which, why bother?) or maybe take a break. If you have a problem, fix it, don't just be a muck raker. (ETA: Applause to the girls who started the pinned "team __" threads and ones similar).
I'm just a rainbows and butterflies kind of chick so you can take it or leave it. Kindness rules! Even if you disagree, come from a place of love.
I know I might get flamed, but I'll speak my mind anyway.
Y'know, the women who started the pinned threads are the ones who get called mean the most often. They also are the ones who respond to thoughts and prayers (T&P) boards, answer unique questions, and comfort worrying moms. They're pretty great!

Yes. I'm aware. So you're saying that my blanket, "don't just complain, do something about it," may not be completely correct? Okay. You make a good point.
I haven't washed my hair since Sunday night, just haven't had the time or inclination. It's full of dry shampoo and been in a pony tail for 2 days. This morning when I woke up I looked like Rod Stewart.
I'm off to wash it now.
Dry shampoo is the sh*t!!!! Best invention for a mom. EVER!
I'm really sad my original bmb is dead because this one mostly sucks. So many rules here, like you can't ever post a topic that's already been done. How many of you honesty search before you post anything? You can't be snarky yet don't be overly nice either. You're not allowed to have a actual bump yet and there's no possible way you can feel the baby moving yet. Forget about guessing gender. Unusual names are no no. I don't get it. I stick around to pass the time and hope it will get better.
Also, pregnancy is a privilege, not a right, and certainly not a disability. The posts about how SO's aren't "stepping up to the plate"? They probably didn't before, either yet you still chose to be with them and let them impregnate you.

Must be a new profile because your join date is April 3rd. If you have been on TB before you know each board has a culture that is pretty well established. This board is not likely going to change if you want it to you are setting yourself up for a let down.
Just to be clear you can complain that no one is doing kittens and rainbow frolicks then complain about people having a rough time with loved ones because they went and got impregnated.

Yes, I created a new profile when I joined N15. I was original August 2012 which I joined when finding out I was pregnant December 2011.
I'm complaining about the fact that there's too much damn complaining on this board!
