Pregnancy has almost completely killed my sweet tooth. This makes me a little bit sad.
Also, more of an UO: I'm sick of the whole gender vs sex debate. I don't remember if this is something I saw more on O15 or here, but I'm over the policing that goes on when the wrong one is used.

it makes me feel like im an outcast of some clique and im not into cliques and it's part of what i don't like about these pregnancy boards because they make you feel like you are in highschool again. i want to converse with people too and im all about it but i think at some point there should be a cut off lol
There is a sticky with all the acronyms it shouldn't be a big deal. It's not some mystical magical club it's more about people being able to respond to others faster. There are many folks who respond to all of the "am i the only one" "I'm worried" "can I eat xyz" posts those who do that need to be quick since many do not use the search function or google to find the answer. I promise no one here cares whether or not you choose to use acronyms but they are probably never going to go away.

That's on you, though. The acronyms have been a standard on TB for a LONG time. There's even a Bump glossary. Do you really expect to come here and ask people who have been posting here for ages and to change simply because you can't be bothered to take a few minutes and learn it? That's a little presumptuous.

I like many of the ladies on here, even the ones who are sometimes really abrasive. I tend to find myself completely agreeing with their point even if I think the way it's expressed is harsh (albeit usually funny.)

I bought a mixed box of Fruit Rollups and Gushers the other day. I was feeling nostalgic and craving them. I wasn't going to get them, but H convinced me to do it. I've eaten half the box already. Why are they still so good?!

And I've somehow only gained 4 pounds. Guys, my pregnant body is defying science. If I ate like this when I wasn't pregnant I would have gained 10 pounds by this point. What even?

Aaaaand I have another one. I HATE people that harass you about their direct sales businesses. I have literally 7 messages on facebook from a girl I haven't talked to since high school that all basically say "Hey Liz you look like you're doing so great, your kids are adorbs. Oh and BTW I have an amazing life changing spectacular opportunity for you...wanna sell IT Works?" NNNOOOOO leave me the F alone.
Some of the direct sales stuff I do actually like to use i.e Norwex, Scentsy. It Works is definitely a scam though. I would never want to sell any of it and am so sick of the people that feel the need to harrass everyone and their mom about their 'business'.

It annoys me to no end when someone writes a discussion and ends it with something like "no judgement on MY thread" or "if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all". Umm last time I checked this was a public Internet forum and a free country. You do not dictate responses! Get used to it or leave.
I don't post often but man am I tired of seeing the 'Guess the gender' posts. It's nice to see that most people don't even answer and engage the poster anymore. But good lord, how can anyone really guess the sex of your baby? Or even care to?
why can't we just write things out? its impossible to figure any out based on context clues. i don't want to have to do research every time. do you all that use them actually find time to study them until memorized?

I haven't washed my hair since Sunday night, just haven't had the time or inclination. It's full of dry shampoo and been in a pony tail for 2 days. This morning when I woke up I looked like Rod Stewart.
I have put in my time on this board. I've enjoyed quite a few giggles and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit morbidly curious about how the arguments might go down.
Now, my FFFC, I'm really put off and upset by meanness posing as "honesty". Mostly the whole snark thing is just an excuse to be mean while hiding behind a computer screen.
I understand how we all get tired of the same old posts or how certain issues can be very heated and offensive but there are better ways of dealing with that. Judging, saying hurtful things, complaining about it and/or fighting just don't seem to be working. If you respond to those threads, you're part of the problem. Either get creative and start your own discussions (which, why bother?) or maybe take a break. If you have a problem, fix it, don't just be a muck raker. (ETA: Applause to the girls who started the pinned "team __" threads and ones similar).
I'm just a rainbows and butterflies kind of chick so you can take it or leave it. Kindness rules! Even if you disagree, come from a place of love.
I know I might get flamed, but I'll speak my mind anyway.
